We’ve developed a patent and proprietary software to detect contamination caused by excess sediment in rivers. They use the GeoFluv methodology and Natural Regrade software, which only 10 teams globally operate, and which the EU has recognized as the best available restoration technique. Eduardo Sánchez, CEO of STONE161, is focused to bridge this scientific development with market needs, identifying opportunities and creating customized solutions for both companies and public administrations. 🎙️Which have been your key milestones recently? Our incorporation will be formalized in the next two months. Despite this, we continue to work from the University on various national and international transfer projects in the mining sector. Our recent milestones have been being finalists in the NTT DATA Foundation eAwards 2204 and receiving the 2nd prize for Best Startup of the Year at La Nave, organized by the Ayuntamiento de Madrid. 🎙️How can our program Clean Cities help STONE161? In our scalability strategy, we want to apply landscape design and construction methodologies to urban areas. We believe that cities aiming to implement sustainability and rewilding criteria in their neighborhoods must consider an intelligent design for their parks and gardens—one that resists erosion, evolves naturally, and helps secure vegetation. ✨ The partners behind the NORO GREEN CITIES project - European Digital Innovation Hub Oceanopolis 2️⃣ This is the second in a series of posts highlighting the partners behind the NORO GREEN CITIES project, an ambitious initiative to promote sustainability, strengthen public-private partnerships and accelerate the green transition in urban areas. 🌱 The Norwegian-Romanian Green Cooperation Initiatives Towards Innovation and Environmental Sustainability will use digital technologies and smart city solutions to solve critical urban challenges. European Digital Innovation Hub Oceanopolis helps start-ups, small and medium-sized businesses and the public sector master new digital business models, tools and competencies that lift the business and its employees into a digitalized and sustainable future. 🇳🇴 A national partnership is behind this digitalization hub, which is one of two Norwegian "European Digital Innovation Hub" networks. Oceanopolis offers special expertise in how to use and reap the benefits of artificial intelligence, data and robotics. Within the NORO GREEN CITIES project, European Digital Innovation Hub Oceanopolis is project leader, bringing extensive experience in digital innovation and project management.
