🏃🏃🏃 Hurry up! Only 4 more days to vote for your favorite employers! We are again attending our beloved Career Show event and awards and are nominated in the category where there is only one person whose vote matters: YOU What I loved about my last year (out of 7) at DXC Technology Bulgaria: 💜 I found a new sense of community and met new people who I can proudly now call friends. 💜 I got to rediscover a concept I had gradually lost (somewhere around the post-COVID isolation I guess): FUN. 💜 I worked on some projects that helped me increase my self-awareness and challenged me to grow, adapt, and be more attuned to the concept of the “infinite game”. 👉 If you'd like to support us in the voting, do cast your vote. Link is in the first comment below.

Strike Labs didn’t start out to be the application development shop for unique units within the Department of Defense, the intelligence community, and their supporting industries. It was formed as a way to protect the new ideas our founder, John Casano, dreamed up while he was co-CEO of—and raised funds for—Paragon Intel. But after 5 years, and being involved in more events than we ever expected, things changed, and our name got around. We've built strong relationships with incredible partners and have done our fair share when called upon. Other companies make more money, are better known, or build tools used by more people. That’s not Strike Labs, and it never has been. We know our role, and believe we serve it well. We’re the ones who solve the hard problems and quickly build mission-specific software that may only last as long as the mission. And that’s totally cool with us; legacy is not our jam. We’re not in it for money or fame. We don’t talk about our clients or much about our work. We don't like big primes like Deloitte Government & Public Services (and big primes don’t like us). We detest bureaucracy and being unproductive. We work outside of traditional processes and are able to do things others can't quickly because of it. Ask around in the right circles, and people will probably have an opinion about us. And so, on our 5th birthday, we want to say to our friends, our team, our clients, and sponsors—thank you for your unwavering support. Here’s to another 5 years of doing good work together. Thanks for allowing us to do what we do. We would not want to be doing anything else.

Better Business Booster #21: Relationships are More Valuable Than One Thinks. Reflecting on my job seeking adventures, I realized the power of vendor relationships in expanding market presence across sectors. In the OCS sector, vendor collaborations have fortified refreshment sales significantly. For instance, Quench USA, Inc. now offers Bevi products, and they have recently engaged in partnership with Java House, a rising player in the industry. These strategic alliances enable Quench to reach a broader OCS customer base, unlocking new opportunities for growth on both the sales and consumer fronts. As the world shifts back to an office-centric approach, I eagerly anticipate witnessing the continued evolution of these partnerships and their impact on the business landscape. #BusinessRelations #MarketExpansion #StrategicPartnerships #Opportunities #OCSIndustry

Federal Employment Tip of the Week: Have you ever received a notification like this and wondered why you were NOT referred. If you received a rating of eligible or tentatively eligible, but you were not referred, it means you did not score high enough on the assessment to be referred or there were other applicants, who by law, must be considered before you (e.g., displaced federal employees, certain veterans). REMEBER: You should target your resume to EACH AND EVERY different job that you apply to. In this situation, a GS-2210 (Information Technology Specialist) is very broad and encompasses many different duties. Make sure to use the Duties, Qualifications and the Occupational Questionnaire available in the job announcement to target your resume.
