We are proud to be a key partner of the newly launched IHI AutoPiX project, a collaborative effort supported by the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI). Together with European research partners, pharmaceutical companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, and patient organizations, we are working to advance imaging in major rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and axial spondyloarthritis. These diseases affect millions of people across Europe and present significant challenges in diagnosis, treatment decisions, and monitoring. The potential of medical imaging in routine clinical care is currently underutilized. The AutoPiX consortium aims to overcome these hurdles by leveraging the power of AI-driven imaging biomarkers. This technology can make clinical imaging more accessible, efficient, and interpretable—not just for scientists and clinicians, but more importantly for people living with rheumatic disease. Prof. Xenofon Baraliakos and UCB’s Joeri Nicolaes are co-leading on a subproject specifically related to imaging in axial spondyloarthritis. We are committed to improving lives and are excited to contribute to solutions that not only bring clarity to complex diseases but also foster personalized, precise, and sustainable care for patients. Learn more about how AutoPiX is using cutting-edge technology to transform rheumatology care and enhance outcomes for individuals living with chronic illness. #Partnership #AutoPixProject #Innovation #Rheumatology #PatientCare #IHI #Imaging #AI

We are acutely aware of the ongoing unmet needs of the #epilepsy community, especially for those who continue to experience uncontrolled seizures. If seizures do not self-terminate, they can progress to a prolonged state with potentially life-threatening consequences. Our study presented at American Epilepsy Society Annual Meeting found that people who experience prolonged seizures are 13.5 times more likely to have a seizure emergency.
