🎉 DERMUS SKINSCANNER-M IS MDR CERTIFIED! 🚀 We are just over the moon that our Dermus SkinScanner-M has received its CE medical device certificate (MDR Class IIa). This is a unique device, to the best of our knowledge, it is: 1. THE FIRST ultrasound device in the world to incorporate simultaneous optical imaging, allowing doctors to see in real-time what they are examining (e.g. center of melanoma); 2. THE HIGHEST frequency handheld ultrasound in the world, allowing high resolution skin imaging in a point of care setting. We’re extremely proud to have arrived to this point of our journey. It’s always a pleasure to exhibit on home ground. We had a fantastic time at the Hungarian Dermatological Society’s Annual Meeting in Budapest last week. The event’s proximity enabled several of our development team members to participate, fostering valuable face-to-face discussions between our engineers and attending healthcare professionals. Our founder, Miklós Gyöngy was also able to attend for the first time since 2017. This congress provided a fitting conclusion to a successful year of events and conferences.
