🎬🎨 The picturesque scenery comes from SANY Renewable Energy's Huilongxu Wind Farm in Jiangyong County. This wind farm not only achieves harmony between humans and nature but also leads the way in digital intelligence. "The stable operation of the wind farm relies on the advanced digital platform behind it," said Qiao Lei, the director of the video. 😊 Qiao Lei majored in Spanish and Communication Management in college. After graduating, she officially joined SANY Renewable Energy, entering the wind power industry and embarking on her journey at Huilongxu Wind Farm. "La digitalización se ha integrado en todos los aspectos del parque eólico," Qiao mentioned. "In terms of operations and maintenance, the wind farm is equipped with a SCADA system that collects and displays real-time operational data, ensuring the safe operation, status monitoring, and troubleshooting of the wind farm, which left a deep impression on me." Qiao Lei sees creativity and passion as the defining traits that best describe her. 👍 Her ten-day learning experience at the wind farm has been incredibly rewarding and has deeply inspired her. 🌟 [Presentation] - Alternative Energy Sources 🌏 On 17 July 2024, I had given the opportunity for representing LOKEN Sdn Bhd to do a presentation on topic of "Innovating for Tomorrow: Alternative Energy Sources" during my final month of internship at Barium Selat. The presentation is part of the Barium Selat Continuous Learning Program (CLP). In the presentation, I highlighted various alternative energy sources which including: ✅Solar Energy ✅Wind Energy ✅Hydro Energy ✅Biomass Energy ✅Geothermal Energy ✅Hydrogen Energy I presented the overview of each energy sources, their production processes, the technologies used, their availability and capacity of energy production both globally and in Malaysia. Besides that, I also discussed Malaysia’s future targets for renewable energy utilization, as outlined in the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR). #NETR is very crucial as it represents a significant milestone for Malaysia by outlining the path to a sustainable future. As we know, one of the core principles of Malaysia #MADANI is ‘sustainability,’ which focuses on responsible growth in energy transition and sustainable development. Malaysia is dedicated to low-carbon development, which aim to transform the economic landscape into a more sustainable one. With a strong passion for the sustainable and green energy sector, I am commited to contributing in helping drive our nation towards a more sustainable future. I recently spoke with a student at the University of Stavanger who was wondering, 'what to become when I grow up.' Despite already having a trade certificate and now studying engineering, he still felt uncertain about his path forward. This conversation reminded me that this feeling often stays with us throughout our careers. I still experience it myself, even after nearly 15 years in the workforce. Personally, I’ve found that the best way to navigate uncertainty is by staying curious, continuously learning, and embracing new challenges. Each time we push ourselves and master something unfamiliar, we gain a renewed sense of purpose—a reminder of why we value growth, regardless of where we are on our journey. At Aker BP, we encourage this mindset across the entire company. With so many large projects and innovation in the energy sector, there are endless opportunities to step outside our comfort zones, build new skills, and grow both personally and professionally. Whether you're early in your career or an expert, there’s always room to explore new directions and make an impact. One of the best parts of my job is getting to speak with so many curious, engaged people who ask questions and share their reflections.
