If you’re a South African seeing this post on LinkedIn, it already solidifies a few truths in your life. 1) You’ve likely had access to some degree of tertiary education, skills development or similar. 2) You’re somewhat clear on the career path you’re working towards. 3) You’re able to access a professional network and the job market. 4) As a South African, it probably wasn’t easy getting to and accessing the 3 points above. The dream & mission of VOCO is so much bigger than you and me. While the goal our mission is to decrease youth unemployment rates country wide, the core is community and partnership. We’re working to build a platform where no young person is confused, discouraged or feels barred from fulfilling their fullest potential We’re working towards a future where every young person can enter to job market with nothing but confidence in their skills and future, knowing there is space for them and knowing how to access it.
