The visit concluded with lunch, providing a great opportunity for students to connect with our team and learn more about our work. We’re proud to support and inspire the future of #biotech.

Meet Srujan Kumar Gandham, Ph.D., Associate Director of Analytical Sciences at Aera. Srujan and the Analytical team are working on novel methods for the characterization and quantitation of the components of the delivery systems that we are developing at Aera. Last week, Team Aera dedicated an afternoon to strengthening our team and giving back to the community. We kicked off with a collaborative workshop focused on bringing our best ideas to the table, followed by packing over 165 backpacks filled with essential school supplies for local youth experiencing homelessness. It was great way to reinforce our commitment to a culture of continuous learning and positive impact.   A big thank you to Eileen Habelow, Ph.D. from Leadership-Link, Blake Nviri from Life Science Cares Boston, and Michael Lombo from School on Wheels of Massachusetts for making this day so memorable. Aera not only attended Benchtalk 2024, held October 1st & 2nd in Boston, but we also received some kudos on how we are integrating @Benchling into our science. Congrats to Samivel Evans for receiving the inaugural Benchling Champion award and thanks to Brad Loncar for a great discussion with Aera's VP, Computation and Lab Technology, Bob Gantzer about how Benchling fits into our research. The Aera team took to the water for our 2024 summer outing! We enjoyed a beautiful dinner cruise on the Charles River before heading through the locks at Charlestown and into Boston’s inner harbor to catch the sunset. There was plenty of fun and laughter amongst good company. It was a perfect way to unwind and connect outside of work.
