Rapport Therapeutics
Biotechnology Research
Precision medicines to match the complexity of the human brain.
About us
Rapport Therapeutics aims to transform the treatment of neurological disorders through a precision medicine approach, precisely targeting disease-driving neurocircuits by leveraging receptor-associated proteins (RAPs). With this approach, Rapport can overcome the well-established limitations of today’s neuromedicines that act indiscriminately throughout the nervous system, resulting in suboptimal efficacy and burdensome side effects. Leading the hunt for precision medicines is a team with established track records of innovation in neuroscience and drug discovery. Rapport was conceptualized and created through a partnership between Third Rock Ventures and Johnson & Johnson Innovation-JJDC, Inc. (JJDC) and launched in March 2023. Rapport is based in San Diego, CA and Boston, MA. For more information, please visit www.rapportrx.com.

We had an amazing time at the American Epilepsy Society Annual Meeting last weekend! It was inspiring to see so much innovation, and we loved connecting with other passionate leaders in the industry and sharing ideas on how we can improve the lives of patients living with epilepsy. Can't wait for AES 2025! #Rapptors #AES2025

This holiday season, we had the privilege of giving back to our communities by purchasing gifts for families so deserving of a little extra love and cheer. In San Diego, we hosted a toy drive for Home Start Inc., providing gifts for children of all ages, from babies to teens. In Boston, we partnered with Caring for Children (Frank and Rosemary Iovieno Caring for Children Foundation) and completed holiday wishlists for families with children who have life-threatening or life-altering illnesses. Grateful for the opportunity to give back and make a small difference this time of year. #holidaygiving #holidayseason #gratitude #boston #sandiego

Just the other week, our own Cheryl Gault had the privilege of speaking at Johnson & Johnson MA Innovation Day alongside Reid Huber and Pascal Bonaventure to highlight the story of #Rapport. Cheryl was in excellent company, with presentations from patients, expert speakers, and an audience of over 200 attendees. It was a day filled with meaningful connections and inspiring insights. We’re so grateful to have Cheryl as a member of our pack! #innovation

Today, we’re presenting novel findings demonstrating a consistent association between the seizure biomarker used in our ongoing proof-of-concept trial of RAP-219 and meaningful improvements in clinical seizures. Stop by our poster presentation in South Hall, Level 1, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. PST to learn how these data could transform how we develop therapies for patients with refractory focal epilepsy. #AES2024 #EpilepsyResearch

We’re headed to LA for the American Epilepsy Society Annual Meeting and looking forward to presenting our latest data on our potential new precision neuromedicine, RAP-219, including new analysis on the association between a seizure biomarker used in our proof-of-concept trial for RAP-219 and clinical seizures (check out the analysis findings in our release today). If you’re onsite at AES, be sure to swing by our posters and visit with us at our exhibit room Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. PST (room 406AB). #AES2024 #EpilepsyResearch https://lnkd.in/eQN5Yh6d

This #GivingTuesday we’re feeling extra grateful for the opportunity to support two meaningful initiatives: Pie in the Sky through Community Servings and Mama's Pies through Mama's Kitchen. We gifted pies to our Rapptors to enjoy over the #Thanksgiving holiday, and in turn, these pies with purpose gave back. Each pie sold provided meals to critically or chronically ill community members in Boston and San Diego. We plan to continue to give back this holiday season by supporting our communities and spreading kindness. #giveback #community #boston #sandiego

The Rapptor Relays – a two-day challenge which included a highly competitive relay race – proved to be one of the many highlights from our San Diego offsite. From excavating fossils to dino-egg races… the competition was fierce! Ultimately, Team Rapptastic Rapptors was victorious! Congrats to Abraham (Abe) Ceesay, Bal Kang, Chris H., Devlynn Johnson, James Limberis, Nancy Wyant, Shenyan Gu, and Viola Bame on their win. #offsite #competition #ourrapptors
