A new public-private development partnership led by Exact Capital will create two new affordable cooperative buildings in West Harlem, Manhattan. The new buildings will improve vacant parcels at 207-209 West 140 Street and 304 West 150 Street, and create a total of 52 homes.
Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 2289-2291 Third Avenue in Harlem, Manhattan. The site is currently occupied by a four-story building and a two-story building, both which will be demolished above the first floor for the new development. Located between East 124th and 125th Streets, the lot is one block east of the 125th Street subway station, serviced by the 4, 5, and 6 trains. Tower Management Group is listed as the owner behind the applications.
New renderings have been revealed for 96+Broadway, a 23-story residential building at 2551-2555 Broadway on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen with Stephen B. Jacobs Group as the architect of record and developed by New York-based private real estate investment and development firm JVP Management, the 276,578-square-foot structure will yield 131 units in one- to five-bedroom layouts and 9,080 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Leeding Builders Group is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Broadway and West 96th Street.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for Park 79, a seven-story senior housing building at 117 West 79th Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Designed by CTA Architects and developed by Fairstead in partnership with Project FIND, the structure yields 77 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 53 units for residents at 40 to 50 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $0 to $53,400.
Construction is complete on 212 West 93rd Street, a 14-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Eran Chen, head of ODA, and developed by Landsea Homes and Leyton Properties, the 65,000-square-foot structure features 20 condominium units in one- to four-bedroom layouts and a select number of full-floor penthouses with interiors by GRADE New York, as well as the new home for the Shaare Zedek Synagogue. The Tuinstra Davis Team at Douglas Elliman and Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is handling sales and marketing for the property, which is located near the corner of Broadway and West 93rd Street.
