The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission is set to review a proposal from the Dwight School concerning its property at 17-19 West 88th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. The school is seeking approval to install four banners on the building’s façade to showcase student artwork.
Façade installation is continuing on the Victoria and Lloyd Goldman Health Care Pavilion, a 15-story medical facility for Lenox Hill Hospital at 1345 Third Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Ennead Architects and developed by Northwell Health and The University Financing Foundation, the 215-foot-tall structure will yield 200,000 square feet of outpatient treatment space for specialized cancer care services, imaging and lab testing, cardiac care, neuroscience programs, a sleep study center, acute and chronic disease management, social work services, and more. The $450 million project is located in Lenox Hill between East 76th and 77th Street.
Permits have been filed for a 23-story mixed-use building at 1655 First Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Located between East 86th Street and East 87th Street, the lot is one block east of the 86th Street subway station, served by the Q train. Cheskel Schwimmer of Chess Builders LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Construction is finishing up on The Delecor, a 31-story residential tower at 250 East 83rd Street in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by The Torkian Group, the 370-foot-tall structure spans 215,608 square feet and yields 128 rental units in one- to four-bedroom layouts, as well as a collection of penthouses and ground-floor retail space. The ground-up property is located at the corner of Second Avenue and East 83rd Street.
Below-grade work is progressing at 1695 Second Avenue, the site of a 23-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Alchemy-ABR with co-developer Azur, the 270-foot-tall structure will span 96,543 square feet and yield 51 rental units with an average scope of 1,842 square feet, as well as 2,507 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a cellar level. The property is located at the corner of Second Avenue and East 88th Street.
