Inspire Youth Zone

Well done and thank you to Niall Thomas on completing #NiallsMiles. What an incredible effort in raising £230 for us as a charity by challenging himself to run 100 mile in December. £230 can fund 40 annual memberships AND 60 free sessions for young people to access our services who might not have 50p to enter. Again thank you, you make a difference 💚

Our ‘CG Annual Giveback’ totalled donations of over £35,000 this year to some incredibly worthy causes. We were proud to support Inspire Youth Zone, Wood Street Mission & Queenscourt Hospice all causes that hold a place in the hearts of the CG team. We were also very fortunate & proud to be able to donate £5000 to this incredible young man Patrick, after his recent battle against a brain tumour. Patrick decided he wanted to give the money to a selection of charities close to his heart after they helped him and his family, including Alder Hey Children's Charity, The Brain Tumour Charity, Tom's Trust, Molly Ollys, Larsen's Pride & William's Gift CIO. Patrick popped into to see the team at CG to say thanks to everyone, along with his mate Arthur Turner. It’s been an amazing year for team CG but these days are the best. Our SOLD OUT show with Lancashire Wrestling Federation is tomorrow! Please be aware there will be no normal session for basketball for seniors THIS Friday 3rd Jan. Doors open at 5:30 and we will be serving food. See you there if you have tickets but for now, lets appreciate some top quality entrances 💚

HAPPY NEW YEAR 🙌🙌 Thank you to the young people of Chorley, our wonderful staff and every single one of you who has supported us; you truly have made this a year to remember! And what a year it has been.. We've welcomed so many new staff, continued our community day every Friday which just gets bigger and better every week, we showcased Lion King and went out into the community carol singing, we hosted our very first Comic Con, and we celebrated being open 6 years to name a few!!! Inspire is a place where you can come and have fun, meet friends, participate in new activities and be opened up to a world of opportunities… but most importantly, from the first time you walk through those doors, you will never be alone again. No matter what life throws at you, there is an army of ‘GREEN TEAM’ who are there for you and will have your back! Let's make this another year to remember 💚

Reaching new heights. Our NICAS Level 1 groups visited Wigan Youth Zone to develop their climbing skills even further this week 💚

The third and final day of Christmas thank you’s from Inspire Youth Zone to our wonderful supporters and partners. Part 1 this morning saw me in Chorley and Cowling, spreading Christmas cheers and expressing gratitude for each supporter over the last 12 months. It was lovely to see the Inspire logo proudly displayed at the main entrance of Kerax Limited, so it seemed an ideal place to take a quick picture!
