Our ‘CG Annual Giveback’ totalled donations of over £35,000 this year to some incredibly worthy causes. We were proud to support Inspire Youth Zone, Wood Street Mission & Queenscourt Hospice all causes that hold a place in the hearts of the CG team. We were also very fortunate & proud to be able to donate £5000 to this incredible young man Patrick, after his recent battle against a brain tumour. Patrick decided he wanted to give the money to a selection of charities close to his heart after they helped him and his family, including Alder Hey Children's Charity, The Brain Tumour Charity, Tom's Trust, Molly Ollys, Larsen's Pride & William's Gift CIO. Patrick popped into to see the team at CG to say thanks to everyone, along with his mate Arthur Turner. It’s been an amazing year for team CG but these days are the best. Thrilled to announce the successful completion of a £7.6m facility for an experienced property investment customer. The new debt will allow the customer to refinance their portfolio, releasing £1m in equity to drive forward their ongoing projects. It is always rewarding to help valued customers – both new and existing – achieve their business ambitions. At CG, we are very proud to support #charities across our offices which have a really profound impact across the communities which they support. For 2024/25, our #Liverpool Office charity has been Queenscourt Hospice, a fantastic organisation which provides access to specialist palliative care either at home (including care homes), hospital or in the hospice itself via the Inpatient Unit or as an outpatient 🫶   They also play a vital role in supporting families of patients through their Family Services – something that has supported several of our staff during really difficult times and the importance of which can be really clearly seen in the video below featuring our Founder and Managing Partner Louise Myers.   This December, a matched funding pot of £50,000 has been pledged to Queenscourt for donations made between 3rd – 10th December meaning that any donations made are doubled from this match funding pot meaning that your donation will have twice the impact 💙 𝘾𝙂 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 £𝟭𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 '𝘽𝙞𝙜 𝙂𝙞𝙫𝙚' to support this fantastic charity and the amazing work they do! The CG team were out in earnest last night at the Titanic Hotel and Rum Warehouse, Liverpool supporting the thriving #Liverpool legal community at the Liverpool Law Society #ADLA. A jam packed 500 legal connections celebrating all that is great about law in Liverpool 🥂   Our team were thrilled to meet The Right Honourable Baroness Hale who served as President of the Supreme Court of the UK until her retirement in 2020. An inspiration to female lawyers out there – especially those from up North! #WeAreCG
