What a Year It's Been! As we approach the Christmas break (we close our offices at 3pm on Monday 23rd December) and reflect on some of the highlights from the past year, we're filled with pride and gratitude for all we've achieved together. 🌟 We kicked off the year attending the parliamentary launch of #BreakingDownBarriers to law alongside other leading law firms across the country. 🌟 We've celebrated numerous promotions and strengthened our team with new appointments, ensuring we continue to provide exceptional service to our clients. 🌟 Hosted Eurojuris International in Birmingham, welcoming legal experts from over 600 firms to discuss the region’s industrial strength and growth agenda. 🌟 We ended the year on a high note with the opening of our new office in Knowle and a £30 million investment to fund our ambitious plans to double in size over the next 18 months. And that's just the firm news! We've had remarkable wins for our clients too, supporting businesses, families, and individuals with stellar service. We're proud to have gained top rankings in both the Legal 500 and the Chambers and Partners Guide with heartwarming testimonials on ReviewSolicitors and retaining our No. 1 ranking for every area of legal expertise in the region. 🚨 NEW OFFICE 🚨 Hot off the heels of our £30million investment news we are excited to announce the opening of our new office in Knowle! The opening of the new office is a hugely exciting move for us and something which complements our existing network of offices across the whole of the Shropshire and the West Midlands. We’re really looking forward to welcoming clients old and new to our new home! Three of our existing senior lawyers, Sara Simson TEP, Laura Vernon & Gareth Ruddock will be available to share their expertise on property issues, wills and tax planning, areas in which we expect to see more demand in light of the recent changes to inheritance tax in the Budget. Hudson Cole Perrins died from a brain injury linked to a urinary tract infection, four days after his father took him to the hospital with stomach pain. His mother Kayleigh said doctors took the "obvious route" of diagnosing constipation when there was no evidence of it. This is a tragic case that has left the family with so many questions and concerns. The inquest into Hudson's death is to be heard at the Black Country Coroner’s Court and will conclude this coming Monday. Michael Portman-Hann in our clinical negligence team is currently supporting the family who have asked us to share this story 🩵 Hudson's mother, Kayleigh said: "As a family, we just want lessons to be learned and we don’t want any other family to go through everything that we’ve been through, because it’s just devastating."
