There’s a lot of talk about the festive season on social media at the moment but not everyone will be taking time off to mark the occasion. For many people, it’s an opportunity for a winter break and a time to catch up with family and friends but there will be many people who continue working over the holiday period. It may also be that the traditional festive period is not something that is celebrated where you're based but perhaps the impact of other nations across the globe that do follow these traditions directly impacts your organisation and the working patterns. The festive season is upon us and like every year, it’s an important time to reflect and think of others who may be in need of a little help and kindness.  That’s why at Bramwith, this December we’ve pledged to support Refuge Network International, a non-profit humanitarian organisation whose mission is to fight against social injustices and alleviate human suffering. The team has worked together to collect food, toiletries and clothing which we will be donating to a local foodbank for families facing challenging times right now. Refuge Network International is a wonderful organisation that runs community events throughout the year which includes their soup kitchen and outreach programs to support highly vulnerable community members. They provide lunch and survival packs to homeless individuals, rough sleepers, and those in need in Central London every single week. 👉 You can find out more about the work they do and how you can support them on their website.

Of course, you can wear a Christmas jumper whenever you like but today is officially Christmas jumper day! 🎄 And there’s no such thing as ‘Bah Humbug’ at Bramwith so in keeping with the tradition of 12th December we're all sporting our festive jumpers. Last week, some of Bramwith’s team headed out after work for our final team house event for 2024. We had a fantastic evening at Balfour Winery tasting at Bow Wine Vaults. It was a unique experience where we got to sample a variety of English wines from one of the country’s leading wine producers.
