🌍 Last month, members of our #London office used one of their annual #CSR days to give back to the community, volunteering with Refuge Network International, an incredible organisation dedicated to fighting poverty and supporting those facing homelessness. Through hands-on efforts, our team helped distribute meals, essential supplies and clothing to those in need. 💙 Huge thanks to the amazing volunteers and staff at Refuge Network International for their dedication and compassion, we look forward to working with you again soon!

On Eptura Day (October 4), to commemorate our anniversary, over 200 Eptura employees across the globe came together as one and volunteered over 700 hours across 15 non-profit organizations to give back to all of the local communities around the world where we have a footprint. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to each and every organization that opened their doors for us. Check out everywhere we were below!

Colleagues have been keeping up the momentum with volunteering in our local communities, as we work towards our target of 1000 days volunteered a year by 2030. Here are some highlights from October: ◾ The HR team volunteered with Refuge Network International in Central London, setting up and serving a lunchtime food bank for the homeless and handing out leftover food bags to those in need. ◾ Colleagues from our Lutterworth site volunteered at We Care UK, a food bank charity in Leicestershire where they packed food parcels. #EnrichingLifePlan #Volunteering

For one day last month, our #WelcomeOffices team volunteered for the homeless in partnership with Refuge Network International, a charity set up to fight against poverty. It supports the homeless by providing meals, supplies, clothing, and advice. The first half of the day consisted of distributing food, clothes, and toiletries to those in need. The second half was spent on mobile outreach, as the team was tasked with finding those struggling with homelessness on the streets around Central London and offering them pre-packed food. Noore Boksh, Property Administrator, who helped organise the event and helped on the day, said: “Our Welcome team was proud to give back to the community for this #CharityDay event. Throughout the programme, the team engaged with some of the service users, who shared their stories and expressed how useful the volunteering sessions were to them, and how beneficial it was to their community.” Find out more here: https://bit.ly/3BABcdg #LifeAtWorkman #corporatevolunteering

I was pleased to lead in the organisation of our recent corporate responsibility day with Refuge Network International which took place last Thursday. My colleagues and I volunteered in a soup kitchen in Central London where we prepared and served meals, and participated in outreach walks to deliver food to those experiencing homelessness. I highly recommend Refuge Network International for anyone looking to arrange a corporate volunteering day - please do reach out and get involved. A very rewarding and humbling experience!

As part of The Lord Mayor's Appeal City Giving Day on Tuesday, the Augmentum team had the pleasure of volunteering with Refuge Network International, assisting with homeless outreach in the Charing Cross area. On a mission to fight social injustices and alleviate human suffering, the work Refuge Network does is extremely important. Since setting up, they have distributed over 400,000 meals in over 13 countries, hosting up to 130 community events a year to help end poverty. Yesterday, I had the pleasure to meet Charles Gimoh, the inspiring leader who established Refuge Network International, to help refugees, homeless and people in need, empowering communities and promoting equitable access to food, housing, healthcare, education, and an adequate standard of living for individuals and families.💙 As a part of IHG Volunteering Days, Myself and 12 colleagues joined Charles and his team to help with their outdoor kitchen, where we prepared and served meals to over 300 local service users. As the charity relies entirely on volunteers, we were proud to be able to help where we could. If you are able to dedicate time or donate, you can find Charles and his team Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Zimbabwe Embassy on Agar Street, The Strand in Central London! Thank you for allowing us to part of such a great cause! And Thank you IHG Hotels & Resorts for organising and for you strong commitment to Giving for Good! 🙏 ❤️ Jessie N.
