🌟 It was a real pleasure for our founder to pitch IndHex at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) last Thursday, as part of a pitching event organised by START Global and the CEMS Club Vienna! 🦈 In true "Shark Tank" style, IndHex was presented to potential investors alongside other promising startups: Boolee, Sonnig FlexCo, Bitsure, PickMe, ToDo4U, OptaRay Photonics, Cookie, Donna, and Acute XR. 🔝 IndHex thanks the jury: Laurens W. It was an honour and a pleasure for Francesco Tonci Ottieri della Ciaja, our Founder, and Levente Gyimesi, our Projects Manager, to take part to the celebration for the 40th anniversary of the foundation of the Österrichisches Forschungsinstituts für Artificial Intelligence (Austrian Research Institute for AI - OFAI). The event also celebrated the 45 years since the establishment of the Österrichische Studiengesellschaft für Kybernetik (Austrian Society for Cybernetic Studies - OSGK). It was a most pleasant event with insightful speeches by Univ.-Prof. Ing. Dr. Robert Trappl, founder of OFAI, Mag.Dr. Brigitte Krenn, Deputy Director of OFAI, and other eminent researchers. At IndHex we have been convinced of the essential role of Artificial Intelligence from day 1 and for this reason we closely follow the latest developments in the field. We are well aware of the crucial role that #universities and #researchinstitutes like OSGK and OFAI play in the development of the field. We recently developed our own AI-based software, AIDA, that now powers the #IndHexNews page for the befit of our subscribers. Soon we will release #IndBot, our very own ChatBot that will make the retrieval of information from our extensive database feel like a walk in the park. It was also pleasant to connect with Márk Babotán, Professional Trainee at OMV, who is an AI expert and enthusiast, and Paolo Petta, Head of Intelligent Agents and New Media at OFAI and lecturer at the Medical University of Vienna and University of Vienna. 🇪🇺 Our founder Francesco Tonci Ottieri della Ciaja and our Projects Manager Levente Gyimesi had the pleasure of attending the 2024 European Hydrogen Week in Brussels last week. ⭐ This event is close to our heart, since IndHex was first introduced in the market at last year's edition of the European Hydrogen Week. In renewing our presence this year, we realised how much the project has evolved in these past 365 days: 🌍 We finalised the projects map, ✒️ We gained our first subscribers, 🤖 We developed and integrated AI-powered software, 👩👦👦 Our team grew, And much more! 🔎 At the event, we had the chance of collecting precious insights into the most urgent needs of stakeholders. One of these is precisely the need for reliable, always up-to-date intelligence on the evolution of the market. This is our #mission and we are increasingly motivated to turn it into a reality. It was wonderful to connect with our early subscribers, ProEuropean Trading GmbH and AeroDelft and to see how much their projects too have developed. We would like to give a special thanks to AIKATERINI LIANOUDAKI, Darko Levičar, Ludovica Gambarotta, Ing. 👁 IndHex was born from a #vision: to have a universal intelligence platform for the world's clean hydrogen market. In a project of this nature, a vision is essential: it needs to be there from conception to execution. 🖥 However, a vision is not enough: it needs to be translated into a set of products that solve stakeholders' day-to-day problems. 💹 For this reason, at IndHex, we are very well aware that for an emerging #startup in #cleanhydrogen like ours, it is essential to deeply understand the market's needs. 🎙 Today we had a most insightful session with a selected number of clean hydrogen pioneers: ProEuropean Trading GmbH, an innovative hydrogen project developer, RINA, a leading consulting company, and 4DLabs, a prominent virtual simulation software developer. 👇 These were the 6 main takeaways: 1. There is a need for a platform like IndHex to enhance stakeholders' knowledge-sharing and cooperation, 2. IndHex needs to grow to be a direct, trustworthy link between stakeholders, 3. In a nascent market like #cleanhydrogen, stakeholders seek to exchange experience, 4. IndHex needs to add information about #technologies alongside those about #projects, then IndHex will be extremely useful for procurement and other areas, 5. #Confidentiality is paramount and it should be reflected in the platform's features. 6. The use of #AI to streamline data collection and analysis is key, 📌 Overall, we were: 🙂 Happy to see that the participants corroborated our view that there is a need for IndHex in the market, 🙏 Grateful to receive such insightful feedback, 💫 Excited to see that the participants shared our vision and look forward to future developments of the platform. 🌟 We are excited to announce that Levente Gyimesi joined us as Projects Analyst ! 👨💼 Levente Gyimesi is passionate about green hydrogen projects and technologies. He is currently completing a Master of Science in applied economics at the University of Vienna with a focus on finance and environmental economics. Previously, he was an intern at OMV in Vienna in Exploration and Production. Prior to that, he obtained a BSc in #BusinessAdministration from the Budapest Business University with a thesis on the possibilities of a #greenhydrogen economy in #Hungary. Levente brings in specialised expertise on green hydrogen solutions combined with a strong background in business administration. 📈 Levente Gyimesi will help the rest of the team to keep the IndHex database of clean hydrogen projects constantly updated. We hold one of the most comprehensive, detailed and up-to-date databases of #cleanhydrogen projects worldwide. This requires a meticulous and constant research work. 💻 To help Levente and the other team members achieve this, we developed our very own AI-powered Data Aggregator (AIDA). AIDA scans selected, freely-available web sources to find, filter and analyse the most relevant information on the clean hydrogen market. ⭐ Flashback to September 11-13, when Francesco Tonci Ottieri della Ciaja attended the 3rd edition of the HYDROGEN EXPO trade fair in Piacenza, Italy: a rainy day where the bright potential of #cleanhydrogen in #Italy was clearly manifested! 🇮🇹 It was a great opportunity to present IndHex to H2IT - Associazione Italiana Idrogeno , to Italian technology manufacturers, and project developers. 🏭 🚄 🛩 We received really positive feedback that pushes us to further develop our platform. For this reason, we are thrilled to introduce you to our new logo... and its meaning. ✅ The Name 'IndHex' is short for 'Hydrogen Index', as our data and analytics offer the most advanced, up-to-date, and user-friendly index of the development of the clean hydrogen market. As we like to say: "Every book starts with an index / Clean hydrogen starts with IndHex." ✅ The Icon The IndHex icon is an upward-projecting wave within a 3D hexagon. The hexagon is becoming the unofficial symbol of hydrogen and its robustness represents the solidity of our #data. The upward-projecting wave stands for both the rapid growth of the clean hydrogen market and that of IndHex. It also resembles a line chart, which goes back to our product: statistics. ✅ The colour The Green Transition is our mission, thus we could not but choose green and blue as our colours.
