Our final news of the year! While our co-founders are back in chilly Austria over the holidays, we went ahead and joined the inaugural event of START Vienna and pitched Acute XR, garnering 2nd place in the competition. Huge thanks to the organizers! Next year we'll strive to bring home some more 1st places and we're already excited to share some news on that front with you early next year. 😉 Until then we are signing off from social media and wishing you happy, stress- and anxiety-free holidays! #pitchcompetition #start #startup

This month we graduated from the Health Wildcatters #accelerator program and celebrated the culmination of our achievements and learnings over 3 months with our Demo Day in a beautiful event space, courtesy of Lyda Hill Philanthropies and Polsinelli. These past three months have taught our founders much about the US healthcare system and prepared us for market entry in 2025. If we had to summarize the top 3 perks of the accelerator it would be: 1. The incredible 300+ mentor network and in particular our super mentors like Daniel Dow, M.D., Scott Jacobson, Greg Howison, and Cathy Henry to name but a few of the extraordinary professionals who have constantly supported our development. Our whole business model has changed and is far more sophisticated than it was 3 months prior thanks to their insights. 2. The constant pitching practice. We elevator pitched constantly and before every single session, at least 5 times a day, and we practiced our 5-minute pitch 2-3 times a week. Our CEO Dominik F. Kirchdorfer now sleep pitches at night. 3. The wonderful atmosphere created by Hubert Zajicek, MD, MBA, Lindsey Settles and Jovelyn Castellanos, MHA. Our cohort was incredibly supportive and we each celebrated our individual successes and even pitched each other to potential investors and customers. We're excited to showcase more of our progress with you early next year! #healthcareinnovation #digitalhealth #vrgaming

Last week we hit the road with IVRHA (International Virtual Reality and Healthcare Association) and demoed our game across Texas. It was an incredible experience to show our product to investors, schools, universities, private clinics, hospitals and even the Navy! We've gained valuable insights into new use cases for our product, found a new customer who signed on the spot, with several more interested, and made many new friends along the way. One of the most exciting parts of the roadshow was the chance to connect with other XR companies and show each other our products and even think of ways to collaborate. Some of our highlights included zSpace, Inc., Center for BrainHealth, Simtryx, 3lb Games to name but a few. Go check them out!

MedCity News Invest Digital Health Conference Returned to Dallas, Showcasing Innovation at Pegasus Park! 💡 The Invest Digital Health Conference featured a series of insightful panels where healthcare leaders discussed crucial topics, including how startups can effectively collaborate with provider partners during pilot programs, the role of AI in pharma, and the most pressing challenges in the consumer diagnostic testing space. Experts also offered valuable advice for startups on pitching to employers, shared perspectives on improving industry cybersecurity, and highlighted key factors that investors prioritize when considering digital health startups. During the conference, Lili Clark (Lyda Hill Philanthropies) introduced attendees to Pegasus Park and Bridge Labs, followed by a tour of Bridge Labs, which is central to North Texas’s rapidly expanding ecosystem of companies, accelerators, investors, universities, and talent. 🔬 The afternoon program included the "Pitch Perfect" competition where six startups showcased their innovations, including one of our very own cohort startups, Acute XR. The conference concluded with an evening reception at Health Wildcatters, where attendees engaged in meaningful networking, and Healthy Young Minds was announced as the winner of the Pitch Perfect Competition. We extend our heartfelt thanks to MedCity News Invest Digital Health Team, all attendees, and everyone involved in making this event a success.
