✨ As we approach the new year, it's time to reflect on the incredible 2024 we've had at the MOVE Start-up Villages in London and Austin! ✨ This year we hosted our largest and most impressive cohort to date! These innovators tackled challenges across the mobility sector, from AI and battery technology to micromobility, logistics, and smart cities. Their groundbreaking solutions captured the attention of global media, investors, and industry leaders 🚀 The energy in the Start-up Villages was unmatched, with founders, investors, and industry leaders coming together to collaborate, exchange ideas, and forge partnerships. Our cohorts this year didn’t just meet expectations—they exceeded them, creating a vibrant hub of creativity and transformation! 🚀 🌍 We started the year in London, where 300 of the world’s most impressive start-ups gathered to showcase their groundbreaking innovations and vision for the future of mobility! 🏆 ecoro were crowned MOVE 2024 Start-up of the Year for transforming intralogistics automation. They are taking automation beyond traditional limits with reliable, cost-efficient, and sustainable solutions that shape the future we want to live in! We wrapped up the year with a bang in Austin welcoming 150 incredible start-ups that didn’t just attend—they made a statement. As we look ahead to 2025, we’re thrilled to announce that MOVE America is heading to Detroit, the heart of automotive innovation! Detroit’s legacy as a hub for mobility and technology makes it the perfect stage to showcase the next wave of start-ups driving the future 🚗 🏆 Skyline Nav AI Inc. were crowned the MOVE America 2024 Start-up of the Year title for their revolutionary GPS-independent navigation system. Whether on land, air, sea, or space, their technology ensures precise geolocation without relying on GPS, cellular, or Wi-Fi—a game-changer for resilient navigation! 💡 The MOVE Start-up Villages are where vision meets action, and the 2024 cohort has set the bar sky-high. Back in Italy 🇮🇹 after an incredible month in USA 🇺🇸, and as the year comes to a close, it’s time for some reflections. 🚀 Representing Green Independence at the Plug and Play Tech Center November Summit 2024 in Sunnyvale was an unforgettable experience. With over 300 startups and visionary corporate partners, investors, and innovators, it was a thrilling deep dive into the future of sustainability and technology. As part of the Sustainability track, I had the honor of pitching our mission and solution, sparking conversations that opened doors to exciting collaborations and opportunities in the dynamic US market. 🥂Special thanks to Stephen Lamm (Bloom Energy) whose talk and insights on the US hydrogen market were enlightening, and to the amazing people who made this experience so impactful and fun: Edoardo Mainella, Eugenio Razelli and Jordan Wahbeh—your support and suggestions mean the world. And to Tabitha Mills, Leonardo Rocchetti, Pablo Gil and the Plug and Play team: thank you for the warm welcome—we’ll definitely see you again next year! 🚀But my US journey didn’t stop in Silicon Valley. At CoMotion LA, I had the privilege of discussing investments in #greenhydrogen with Timothy Gribaudi and John Rossant. Though I missed Monaco’s Hydrogen Summit this year, I’m excited to keep collaborating with you and Bruno Serrano. 💚 Sometimes, chance meetings lead to extraordinary connections—John Rosser it was a pleasure discussing the growth of the startup and sustainability ecosystem in Regione Puglia. 🚀And last but not least: Boston! Visiting Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University and CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) was an enriching experience. We are seriously considering establishing a presence in this inspiring ecosystem. Special thanks to Andrew Ngui and Suman Lal for introducing us Boston ecosystem. Green Independence at InnovateHER: A Sustainable and Female-Led Future! 🌍 On October 25-26, our COO and co-founder Marta Pisani represented Green Independence at InnovateHer, a global event held in Cagliari, dedicated to empowering and connecting female founders. This kickoff event was an incredible opportunity for women entrepreneurs, paving the way for our next big step: the Global Startup Program acceleration in Los Angeles by Italian Trade Agency - Los Angeles Office and Prospera Women from October 28 to November 22. InnovateHER featured key figures from the worlds of technology and entrepreneurship, including Amy Peck, CEO of EndeavorXR, Leah Edwards, investor and Prospera Women advisor, Anastasia Dgebuadze, marketing strategy consultant at Capgemini with which we had a very interesting mentoring session.
