Spreading the holiday spirit at Stoelzle Oberglas! ✨ For the second year in a row, our team in Austria has come together to participate in the Reversed Advent Calendar initiative, led by Caritas. Instead of receiving, we’ve spent December giving—donating toiletries, non-perishable food items, clothes, and other essentials daily to support those in need. Last week, we proudly delivered all contributions to Caritas, knowing they’ll bring joy to many this festive season. As a small token of appreciation, every employee that participated received a Christmas tree voucher to add a bit of holiday magic at home. To everyone who contributed — Thank you for making a difference! 🎄💙

🌍 ORC Generator: A Year of Powering Sustainability We’re proud to celebrate the first anniversary of the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) generator at our plant in Poland! This innovative system transforms waste heat from the glass production process into electricity, enabling us to maximise resource use and significantly enhance energy efficiency. Key Achievements Over the Past Year: 🔋 Electricity Generated: 3,000–7,000 MWh/year, covering 5–12% of our plant’s total electricity needs—enough to power 1,200–2,800 Polish households annually! 🌱 Environmental Impact: Reduction of 2,106.5 tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year, contributing to cleaner air and a greener planet. Polanski Łukasz, who led the technical implementation, shares: "This system is a game-changer, demonstrating how innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand.
