With this critical #milestone achieved, initial testing of the process units is now underway. 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 "𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰” 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮 We are proud to announce our Magnesite and Magnesia #pledge which took place at the Magnesia Cocktail in Brussels. This pledge is a united call from the European #magnesite and #magnesia industry for urgent recognition of these materials as 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀. Magnesite and magnesia play an indispensable role in Europe's transition to green technologies. Yet, their absence from the Critical Raw Materials Act leaves #Europe vulnerable, with nearly 𝟴𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 controlled by countries outside of the Europe. To address this challenge, we are urging the 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 to include these materials in the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗮𝘄 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀. This step is vital to: ✅ Reduce dependency on external suppliers. ✅ Strengthen supply chain resilience. ✅ Drive sustainability and innovation. ✅ Bolster Europe’s economic autonomy. Yet, #Europe is highly dependent on imports, exposing the economy to supply shocks and geopolitical risks.
