Continuing our LinkedIn edition of our 12 Days of Giving Campaign... As we work toward a future where no parent faces postpartum struggles alone, we’re deeply grateful for the incredible partners who share our vision. Postpartum depression (PPD) doesn’t just affect new mothers—it can affect the whole family. Research shows that non-birthing partners can experience PPD themselves, with symptoms like anxiety, irritability, sleep disturbances, and feelings of isolation. These challenges are often under-discussed, but they play a vital role in shaping the mental health of the entire family unit. At Pacific Postpartum Support Society (PPPSS), partner support groups provide a safe space for non-birthing partners to connect, share experiences, and access mental health resources. Through these groups, partners can share and hear from people going through the same experiences as them, creating a space where they feel less alone. Check out our carousel to hear what partners had to say about our support groups. By supporting PPPSS, you’re not just helping parents—you’re supporting entire families. Your donation enables us to continue offering essential partner support groups and resources that have a lasting impact on family well-being. Join us in making a difference for parents and families in need by donating to our 12 Days of Giving campaign. Every contribution counts! Hey Linkedin Family, Friends, & Strangers (if this crosses your timeline), Today is Giving Tuesday, a day when non-profits like Black Girls Mental Health Collective Foundation raise critical funds to sustain and grow their mission. For many organizations, this day accounts for as much as 20% of annual budgets. At BGMHCF, we sponsor therapy for moms in need and fund perinatal mental health training for birth workers. These are lifelines for the moms and families we serve. Let me tell you why this work is so deeply personal for me: Postpartum didn’t mean sitting in a dark room crying all day without support. It looked like refusing the “golden hour,” avoiding breastfeeding, and opting out of night feedings. It looked like my sister taking care of my daughter for 12 hours a day, Monday through Friday; my grandma spending four days a week at my house; and my mom stepping in on weekends. I had everything society tells us should make postpartum easier: a full year of paid maternity leave (though I returned to work after just six weeks), a village of loved ones nearby, a Black OBGYN, two therapists, a PhD, a six-figure salary, a house, a cleaning service, and free formula for a year. If someone like me—armed with every resource imaginable—can feel lost in the aftermath of childbirth, how much harder must it be for those without access to support, therapy, or a village? This is why I do what I do. Please, donate today - as every dollar can be transformative. I am proof of that. - Chyna You can donate via our website: https://lnkd.in/eKw4GYp3 or if your employer participates in Benevity, you can find us there by searching "Black Girls Mental Health Collective Foundation." #givetuesday #givingtuesday2024 #postpartumdepression #mentalhealth #maternalhealthmatters

Parents receiving emotional support report better coping abilities and enhanced resilience during their child’s NICU stay. Join our Circle of Champions and provide ongoing support that helps families thrive before, during, and after a NICU stay. The Big Give Christmas Challenge is LIVE! 🌟 This week, we have the chance to change the lives of children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs—and every donation you make will be doubled. 💛 Right now, thousands of children across the UK are struggling silently. Mental health issues among children are at an all-time high, with 600 children entering a crisis each week because they couldn’t access help in time. Children from disadvantaged communities are 4.5 times more likely to experience severe mental health problems, and without support, their futures are at risk. Through your donations, we can continue to provide life-changing interventions of Psychotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Six x Talk time to help children reduce anxiety, heal from trauma, find their voice, build confidence and teach vital skills. But this isn’t just about providing therapy—it’s about giving children hope, safety, and a chance to unlock their full potential. With your help, we can reach over 3,000 children this year across London—children who are waiting for someone to believe in them. The funds raised will enable us to give children the tools to overcome trauma, rebuild self-esteem, and face the future with courage. Together, we can rewrite their stories and show them that they matter. Donate today. Double your impact. Change a life. - https://lnkd.in/edFEaqXp Because every child deserves hope this Christmas. #TheBigGive #ChristmasChallenge #MentalHealthMatters #SEMH #ChildrenFirst #SupportEarlyIntervention #DonateNow

An incredibly generous donation from Northgate Market of 90 baby blankets 🚼 A key category of our baby basic distributions is “comfort items” and blankets & swaddles are always items that are quick to go! So, receiving this in-kind donation is not only kind but so helpful to our moms & families who need support. What may just seem like a comfort item is so much more… it is a basic need that supports the emotional well-being of our kiddos, even as babies. Baby blankets can help provide a sense of familiarity and security to babies, especially during times of stress or change. So not only are they necessary for warmth, but they are quite literally physical examples of how connected basic needs are to our mental health. We are proud and honored to partner with business like Northgate Market who prioritize the needs of their community 💚 #pueblosofca #vivalasalud #inkinddonation #babyblanket #nonprofitorganization #basicneedssupport

It’s the most wonderful time of the year—and the most generous. Join the #GivingTuesday movement and give back to causes you care about. This Giving Tuesday, consider donating to HRI's Give Hope, Drive Change campaign to support life-changing research for mental health and substance use health. The transition to adulthood is a critical time, but many young people face unique challenges that leave them vulnerable to mental health struggles. That's why HRI is expanding our efforts to help transition-age youth. Your gift will help drive research forward — launching new studies, identifying new treatments and building partnerships to uncover the solutions we urgently need. Together, we can bring real hope to young adults facing mental health and substance use challenges. Make a one-time donation or become a monthly donor to support vital research throughout the year. Donate by December 31st and our partners at Homewood Health will match your gift, dollar-for-dollar, doubling your impact. #MentalHealthResearch #SubstanceUse #SubstanceUseHealth #addictionmedicine #MentalHealth

🌸 We’re In! 🌸Cherished Mom is thrilled to join RUOVA Consulting #GiveBackGiveNow Campaign—a mission that’s all about showing up for our communities when it matters most and doing it now! For us, this isn’t just another campaign. It’s a chance to do what we love most: advocating for maternal mental health, supporting moms through their toughest moments, and reminding families that they’re not alone. According to data from the CDC, maternal suicide is a leading cause of death in the postpartum period and maternal mortality rates in the US are the highest among developed countries. These numbers have continued to climb over the past few years making it an urgent global issue, one that needs more awareness. By teaming up with RUOVA and aiming for a $5,000 goal, we hope to: 💖 Reach more moms in need of education and support. 💖 Spread awareness about the importance of mental health in motherhood. 💖 Build stronger, healthier communities together. We believe change starts with us—and with you. Whether it’s through a donation, a share, or just cheering us on, you’re part of this journey, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Your gift of $1 gives one mom a chance to stay alive. Your gift of $10 gives a child the chance to experience the warmth and care of a mother’s love. Your gift of $25 provides education and support to expecting and postpartum families about maternal mental health risks. Your gift of $50 empowers maternal mental health survivors to share their stories and become advocates. Every generous gift of $100 helps train first responders and healthcare providers to recognize and respond to maternal mental health crises. Your generosity makes a difference! Together, we can end Maternal Suicide! Give Back, Give Now. Support Cherished Mom in her fight to save lives! #GiveBackGiveNow #CherishedMom #MaternalHealthMatters #CommunityFirst #RUOVAConsulting #womenshealth #womensupportingwomen #nonprofit #Fundraising

Despite therapy, medications, and countless appointments, we lost someone we loved deeply. That loss ignited my passion to act—to ensure no family faces this battle alone. I founded Our Foundation Matters to close the gaps in mental health care. Over 50% of people struggling with mental health challenges never receive help. This isn’t just a statistic; it’s a call to action. We believe knowledge is power. Through eBooks, workshops, and online tools, we’re empowering families with simple, science-backed strategies to build resilience and prevent crises before they start. Your support makes this possible. Every $50 equips a family with resources. Every $500 funds a workshop that changes lives. Together, we can create a ripple effect of well-being that lasts for generations. 📲 Donate today at https://lnkd.in/dvR6KqwF "Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world." – Nelson Mandela Will you join us in turning heartbreak into hope?
