✨ 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲: 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 (𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐟 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞) ✨ Not everyone loves winter—I get it. It’s cold, it’s dark, and sometimes it feels like the season drags on forever. But over the years, I’ve found that finding little ways to enjoy this time of year can make a huge difference. Here’s what I’ve been trying: ❄️ 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 (𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀): I’m not a fan of the cold either, but there’s something refreshing about a brisk walk in the snow. The quiet of a snowy day or the crunch of fresh snow underfoot? It’s a little winter magic. 🔥 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘇𝘆: Winter is my excuse to slow down. A warm blanket, a steaming mug of tea, and a good book—those little moments feel extra special this time of year. 🎯 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹: Whether it’s starting a hobby, trying new recipes, or even getting better at enjoying downtime, winter can be a perfect time to focus on something just for you. 🌟 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗷𝗼𝘆𝘀: A glowing fire, holiday lights, or even the beauty of frost on the window—it’s easy to miss these things when we’re busy hurrying through our day. Winter isn’t always easy, but it has its own rhythm, and when we embrace it—even just a little—it feels a lot more enjoyable. How do you make the best of winter? Let’s share ideas—maybe we’ll all pick up a new way to love (or at least tolerate!) the season. Make the best of it! #winter #getoutside #enjoythelittlethings #healthcoach

Blessings to you dear LinkedIn community, “May you gift yourself delicious and sacred idleness this festive season”. … You may know of dolce far niente - the sweetness of doing nothing. Sacred Idleness, its more serious cousin takes some work. We don’t just stumble across Sacred Idleness, but intentionally dedicate time and space for it. A time of rest, reflection, restoration and rejuvenation. It can take unlimited forms..you will discover what is right for you.. You may be drawn to go to a nearby park or to the mountains. To regulate. To gain perspective in the glory of nature. Maybe it will involve sitting silently in front of the fire. Encompassed by its warmth and security. Seeing the reflection of your mind in the changing, dancing flames. You literally may go on a retreat. Or digital detox. To reflect on what the year has meant to you. And what you would like to let go of. And what you wish to manifest. Maybe you just want to hang out at your favourite spot. And to contemplate resilience. Or to sit in joy. To feel the sensations of the sun and air on your skin. And give gratitude to all who and what you love. For some, you will want to meditate. Others will draw inspiration and solace from a book. Or a podcast. A conversation with the more-than-human world. Or it may be a dedicated 10 minutes to yourself. Between dinner courses or between juggling demands of the dog, children and Zoom calls with relatives. To not only ‘catch your breath’, but to sit there with it. To use a line from a Johnny Clegg and Savuka song. "It is a cruel crazy beautiful world'. May you gift yourself sacred idleness this festive season. And carry on this conscious practice as an ongoing commitment to your health and wellbeing. And may you gift yourself delicious idleness for the same reasons. 💚🥳💚🥳 Access the full blessing blog post below https://lnkd.in/ePZM-BA #sacredidleness #festiveblessings #freedomforall #PeopleAndPlanet
