Last week InsideOut® was selected via a competitive pitch process to attend Innovate UK’s Health Tech Investor Readiness event organised by the business growth team. We delivered a 5 minute pitch to both angels and VCs who provided constructive feedback on our pitch and pitching style. Key takeaways from our pitch: 1. We have a good deck and clear slides 2. The business is uniquely solving a real world problem in what is a busy space 3. Revenue is key in this climate. A well thought through model with a clear journey of how we will achieve our targets is essential. Our latest #investment round is almost done (🙌) so we are pleased to say that we will be extending the raise and therefore will be overfunding the round 🤞. Claremont Hacienda, operator of a memory care community catering to individuals with memory impairment, was acquired by Generations Healthcare. 2. Longevity Health Plan and Infinity Healthcare Consulting, clinical care and therapy services intended for senior citizens, formed as a joint venture. 3. Scenic Mountain Medical Center, provider of healthcare and emergency services based in Big Spring, Texas, a subsidiary of Steward Health Care, was acquired by Quorum Health. 4. Console Hospice, provider of care services intended to serve the San Fernando Valley and Greater Los Angeles Area, was acquired. Early Stage VC 5.
