Sometimes when you're #fundraising you'll get some #inbound messages from #VCs, usually associates as they're literally head-hunting for the next early-stage deal Now, many of us would associate the number of these messages from VCs to being a gauge to how interested people are to #invest in your #startuo But sadly, keep in mind that VCs want to catch companies early, ideally before they hit the market, where competitive pressure can raise a company's price. This is specifically true and always will be true for companies with a solid team, traction, and a large market to tackle. So when it comes to engaging with these messages, keep in mind that meetings will take time. You need to protect your time to be strategic with when and how you run your business. What do you think?
