The recent partnership between BRINC and Echodyne to enable beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations for first responders represents an exciting development for public safety. In Michigan, the ability to respond rapidly to emergencies across difficult terrains, urban areas, or hazardous conditions is critical. This partnership offers an interesting take on BVLOS implementation and could instill a sense of reassurance and confidence in the enhanced capabilities of uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) to operate in challenging environments without needing direct visual contact. Implementing BVLOS for public safety means faster deployment, increased situational awareness, and safer operations in emergencies like search and rescue, disaster response, or hazardous material incidents. BVLOS will enable drones to reduce response times, mitigate risks, and save lives. As our public safety agencies continue to innovate, partnerships like this will ensure we remain at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge technology to protect our communities. #PublicSafety #BVLOS #DroneTechnology #FirstResponders #Michigan #Innovation

That's why we're looking for a solution to aim at an air target and remotely detonate near it. Air flows from the #Orlan itself prevent the pilot from directing the drone directly into it. He's looking for angles of attack, but always time works against. Based on our practice, most often we go to the target from above. It also requires skill and time in the air, which is already limited by the capacity of the batteries and the speed of the Orlan #gnizdoltd
