We carried out a confined space inspection of a complex tunnel system in a building basement using remote non-invasive technology so no lives were put at risk. Health & safety were very happy with this approach. We used a terrestrial drone which can be operated on both land and water to carry out the inspection. This approach was much safer and more cost effective than traditional techniques. #ConfinedSpaceInspection #tunnelinspection #culverinspection

There are radars such as those from MatrixSpace that are designed for distributed deployments to address the low altitude airspace awareness challenge.

The technology is available today and ready right now to address the issues that have been front page news over the past few days. Companies such as MatrixSpace have US Made, Designed and Developed 360 Radar systems and solutions that only require a solar panel or battery to run. Our approach makes it cost effective and easy to set up (10 minutes) and start monitoring the skies.  When our technology is coupled with our partners, we can support a successful end state.  As AUSVI notes, the industry is ready and willing to assist our country immediately. All we need the support of the government to bring this to the forefront and ensure we do not slip further behind.

Key points: 1. Drone Activity Over Water Reservoirs: The reports of drones over reservoirs raise concerns about potential tampering or environmental effects. Drones spraying unknown substances could theoretically contaminate water sources, though this remains unproven. 2. Water Quality Issues: Residents' descriptions of water smelling like paint thinner or nail polish and tasting metallic are unusual and unsettling. While the company states that water meets primary standards, such odors and tastes are not typical for potable water. 3. Coincidental Events or Causal Links? The broken water main in Union City could explain some issues, but it does not account for the widespread reports of foul water across multiple towns. The simultaneous presence of drones and water problems naturally invites speculation. 4. Health Risks: Until a clear explanation is provided, residents should err on the side of caution: Use bottled water for drinking and cooking. Avoid bathing young children or individuals with sensitive skin in the affected water. Continue to report issues to local authorities and water providers. 5. Investigations Needed: Authorities must thoroughly investigate: The purpose and origin of the drones. Detailed water testing to identify contaminants or abnormalities. Any potential connections between drone activity and water contamination. 6. Public Communication: The lack of detailed guidance from authorities and water providers has added to public frustration. Clear and transparent updates are critical to maintaining public trust and ensuring safety. While definitive answers are not yet available, the convergence of these events highlights the need for vigilance, robust oversight of critical infrastructure, and transparent communication to address public concerns effectively.
