Ukraine’s Brave1 cluster tests German interceptor drone The Brave1 cluster recently reported tests of a German-manufactured interceptor drone capable of neutralizing reconnaissance drones and Shahed UAVs. Royal Netherlands Army set to provide its soldiers with personal C-UAS equipment In a letter to Parliament dated 19 December, 2024 State Secretary for Defence Gijs Tuinman announced plans to procure personal C-UAS equipment for Royal Netherlands Army soldiers in the first quarter of 2025.

Russia begins the New Year with massive drone assault on Ukraine Russia has begun the new year by launching a massive drone attack on Ukraine during the early hours of New Year’s Day, targeting multiple regions across the country. FAA expands New Jersey drone flight restrictions The FAA has broadened its temporary flight restrictions to encompass parts of nine additional municipalities in New Jersey, citing continued concerns over unexplained drone activity. The National Sherrifs' Association releases statement in response to drone sightings, calls federal government response into question. On December 19, the National Sherrifs’ Association (NSA) released a statement calling for further transparency and government coordination in response to the recent drone sightings across the United States. 

FAA imposes flight restrictions over critical New York infrastructure sites. On December 19 at 10:19PM EST, the Federal Aviation Administration imposed temporary flight restrictions over 29 sites within New York, active until January 18. This followed the imposition of TFRs over 22 communities in New Jersey on December 18.

Sentrycs announces Public Safety Deals with new customers in North America. Sentrycs announced yesterday its latest Public Safety Deals, having secured two agreements with law enforcement agencies, including a North American organisation.

South Korea holds military drill against North Korean drones today. The South Korean military held a joint air defence drill this afternoon, focused on enhancing South Korea’s response capabilities against potential North Korean drone incursions.

FAA bans drones from flying over parts of New Jersey until mid-January At 21:30 EST on December 18, the Federal Aviation Administration implemented a further 22 temporary flight restrictions across additional areas of New Jersey in their latest response to the drone sightings across the United States’ East Coast.
