Post analytics for your content

Last updated: 3 months ago

As a LinkedIn member, you can access post analytics for your individual account that provides insights into the impact of your content (including short form posts, images, videos, events, polls, and articles). You can use these analytics to customize your strategy for creating content and engaging your audience. These analytics are specific to the post itself and do not apply to Poll results or Events attendee metrics.

Note: Starting April 2024, the impression count you see on your posts will include the impressions on your post as well as the impression count on any reposts of your content by another member. You may experience an increase in your impressions as a result.

Important to know

We’re always working to maintain member anonymity while viewing posts and recently made changes to our demographics analytics affecting post performance, article performance and video performance. We also redesigned your Top demographics of unique views to highlight the top insights for your unique views (currently available only on the LinkedIn mobile app). As part of these changes, your Top demographics may take longer to populate or your detailed breakdown may show information for some demographics categories while others remain blank until your post gets more unique views. In addition, you will see your results shown as a percentage of unique views rather than as a count. To learn more, refer to the Recent changes to top demographics of unique views help center article linked below.
