Mason Health employees were proud to participate in three local holiday giving drives this year. Mason Health is grateful for the hard work of local agencies supporting children and families year-round and especially during the holiday season. *Toys for Tots of Mason County* - Jolene LaCombe of the Department of Children, Youth & Families and Heather Kennedy from the Department of Social and Health Services and their families and friends are responsible for providing toys for more than 800 low-income children in Mason County! https://lnkd.in/ggfZsHMa *Turning Pointe Survivor Advocacy Center* - Courtney Wittenberg and Julia Villanueva from Turning Pointe support the operations of the 54-bed domestic violence shelter for women, children and pets in Mason County, one of the largest in Washington State. The nonprofit supports more than 500 individuals in and out of the shelter seeking sexual assault and/or domestic violence support. https://turningpointe.org/ *WA Department of Children, Youth, and Families* - The Shelton office of DCYF supports Mason County families and protects children from child abuse and neglect. The local office collected toys for more than 250 foster children and other children displaced from parental care this year. Special kudos to the Mason Health Business Office for supporting 9 children this year. https://dcyf.wa.gov/ Thank you to all of the employees who participated in this year's toy drives and thank you once again to the agencies doing this difficult work! #UnitedCommunity #EmpoweredPeople #ExceptionalHealth #HolidayGiving #CommunitySupport #EmpowerFamilies #ChildWelfare #SupportLocal #NonprofitWork

🙌Congrats, December 2024 Employee of the Month Patrick Santos, an RN in the Emergency Dept! "Patrick has not been at Mason Health long, but he has stood out from the beginning as someone who can be counted on. Calling him a team player is an understatement. He understands that it takes a team to care for a patient and that assisting co-workers in his department and outside his department is a direct benefit to his patient. He is consistently polite and helpful, and his patient care exceeds the standards. I would be happy to have him care for me and any member of my family." This is just one of the nominations Patrick received. Congrats, Patrick! Stay tuned for a full press release coming soon! #EmployeeoftheMonth #EmployeeRecognition #Awards
