October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it is recommended that women start having a mammogram annually at age 40. Hospital staff carry out this mission with courage and compassion. Rural America provides the food, fuel and fiber that powers our nation. Last year you cared for over half a million people in rural Washington; thus making you an integral part of the American food and industrial complex. What you do matters. Healthcare is personal. Healthcare is local. Because of you, half a million people received care in their communities. And not just any care. You are committed to providing the highest standard of care, bending over backwards to create solutions to problems that larger systems do not face. The Rural Collaborative extends our sincerest gratitude to all hospital staff.
