Every year, Summit Fights Hunger makes a meaningful impact by providing meals to families in need within our community. This year, thanks to incredible fundraising and sponsorship efforts, the Summit Pacific Medical Foundation hit a new milestone by delivering 1,200 meals! It is our privilege to announce that Summit Pacific Medical Foundation will receive $600,000 in additional grants from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund and a $200,000 donation from Our Community Credit Union (OURCU). This amazing gift was made possible through the partnership of Our Community Credit Union (OURCU). “Summit Pacific Medical Center and our Foundation are humbled by Our Community Credit Union’s generosity in securing this $600k grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Monies on our behalf. The Summit Pacific Medical Foundation is proud to be a recipient of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund Award through a partnership with Timberland Bank This award will invest $320,000 into our community and support the construction of the hospital to double the bed capacity in the Emergency Department, increase the number of acute care beds available, and aid in the purchase of an MRI machine.
