About us

e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. stands with every eye, lip, face and paw. Celebrating the beauty of every eye, lip and face is fundamental to our DNA. It’s in our name and inspires us as a company. We are committed to creating a culture internally – and in the world around us – where all individuals are encouraged to express their truest selves, are empowered to succeed and where we do the right thing for people, the planet and animals. Our deep commitment to inclusive, accessible, cruelty-free beauty has fueled the success of the e.l.f. Cosmetics brand online and at retail since 2004. With the 2020 acquisition of the pioneering clean-beauty brand W3LL People, and the new lifestyle beauty brand Keys Soulcare created with Alicia Keys, we continue to strategically expand our portfolio with brands that support our purpose and values. Our brands are widely available online, and at leading beauty, mass-market, and natural specialty retailers.

Celebrating leadership that inspires us all! 🚀 We are proud to share that Tarang Amin, CEO of e.l.f. Beauty, has been recognized as Fast Company’s inaugural Modern CEO of the Year—a true testament to the power of bold leadership rooted in values.    Under Tarang's leadership, e.l.f. has reached new heights while staying focused on the importance of connecting with the consumer and reflecting the community we serve.     Measuring inclusion, accessibility, humility and innovation is how Stephanie Mehta chose this year’s Modern CEO of the year and it is no secret that each of those align with e.l.f.’s ethos.     What makes Tarang stand out as a Modern CEO?:  💡 Lead with purpose: Tarang’s focus on democratizing beauty reminds us that purpose-driven decisions create the strongest foundations for growth.  💡 Embrace change: From reimagining what is means to be a different kind of company to pushing boundaries in innovation, he shows that staying agile and forward-thinking can drive transformational results.  💡 Cultivate culture: At e.l.f., it’s not just about what we achieve but how we achieve it—with transparency, empowerment and staying true to our values.    This recognition is more than a celebration; it’s fuel to further our mission to make the best of beauty accessible to every eye, lip and face. We’re reminded that being a modern leader is about much more than outcomes—it’s about the journey, the lessons and the impact along the way.     Congratulations, Tarang, on this incredible recognition! Here’s to continuing to grow, learn, and challenge the status quo together.     Thank you to Stephanie Mehta and Fast Company for shining a light on Tarang’s leadership and our one team, one dream vibe at e.l.f.    📖 Read more about Tarang’s leadership and vision here:  https://lnkd.in/ebvGeSre

  • Double the honors, double the pride. 🙌 We’re proud as e.l.f. and absolutely thrilled by these two incredible recognitions from Fast Company.  ✨ e.l.f. Beauty has been recognized as one of Fast Company’s 2024 Brands That Matter, a reflection of our mission to lead with purpose and passion in everything we do. ✨ Our Chief Marketing Officer, Kory Marchisotto has also been named to their inaugural CMOs of the Year list, celebrating her bold vision and the transformative ways she’s supported e.l.f.’s growth and success.  This recognition showcases our commitment to creating a different kind of company - bold and kind. Fast Company highlighted Kory’s leadership in our “Change the Board Game” campaign, which advocates for diversity on corporate boards.  These recognitions highlight what makes us uniquely e.l.f. - bold disruptors with kind hearts. • So many dicks. So many votes. 🗳 Did you know that there are more men named Dick (Richard, Rich, and Rick) on U.S. public corporate boards than entire groups of underrepresented people? e.l.f. heard the signals and took action by disrupting culture with our ‘So Many Dicks’ campaign earlier this year. This bold and humorous campaign shines a spotlight on the need for real change in leadership and is part of our Change The Board Game initiative to push for greater diversity on corporate boards by 2027. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we’ve made it to Marketing Week’s Top Campaigns of 2024 shortlist. Your support means the world to us in elevating this campaign and mission. Our board, comprised of 78% women and 44% diverse, has contributed to our 23 consecutive quarters of net-sales growth, and continues to help drive our mission to make the best of beauty accessible to every eye, lip and face through positivity, inclusivity and accessibility. 🚀 We need your support to elevate this campaign to further amplify our mission! • What are we doing hanging out with Kara Swisher? Igniting culture and inspiring action, that’s what! 💥    We partnered with Vox Media’s `On With Kara Swisher’ podcast for a live recording with Tubi's CEO, Anjali Sud at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. The conversation, introduced by our CMO Kory Marchisotto, was rooted in putting more women and diverse voices in seats of power – and the value that brings to the companies driving the economy.     Kory talked about the importance of asking difficult questions – a favorite topic of Kara’s – which, she acknowledged, might at first cause friction, that ultimately lead to “Progress with a capital P.”      Democratizing access and serving the underserved drives our vision to be a different kind of company by building brands that disrupt norms, shape culture and connect communities with positivity, inclusivity and accessibility. 💪    Tubi is doing complementary work in democratizing access to storytelling as a free entertainment streaming service that caters to the real-time tastes of the community. “We lean in when it’s what our audience wants. We don’t want to be the arbiter of content, we want our audience to decide,” Anjuli said.      What we’re doing, what Tubi is doing, and what Kara is doing recognizes that the successful businesses of the future aren’t following the playbook of the past – or even of today. We’re here to encourage all the changemakers, trail blazers and earthquakers out there. Keep it e.l.f.ing up!

  • Where beauty meets artistry, prosthetics inspire performance, and identity is anything but ordinary. 💪 We are thrilled to unveil the latest episode of our Show Your(s)e.l.f. film series, featuring the visionary Viktoria Modesta - a bionic pop artist whose journey redefines resilience and reinvention. Through Show Your(s)e.l.f., we shine a spotlight on disruptors who turn adversity into opportunity, embracing their individuality to inspire others. Grateful to our partners at Tribeca Festival for joining us in this movement to amplify voices that challenge the norm. Together, we’re proving that bold storytelling and beauty can change hearts and minds. To Viktoria and every change-maker out there - thank you for inspiring us to see beauty in all its forms. ❤️ Keep showing up. Keep being bold. Keep showing your(s)e.l.f. • At e.l.f. Beauty, we are purpose led and results driven – and we always show up for others. Prioritizing what our community cares about is how we are built. 💪     e.l.f. Beauty donates at least 2% of our profits to organizations that drive positive change. We also match every donation made by our employees. That impact is matched once more by the personal generosity of our Chairman and CEO Tarang Amin and his wife Hirni – tripling the amount that is donated. Having just launched a new giving platform a month ago, we are proud to say we already are supporting 50+ global organizations.     Today, we honor the spirit of giving back, embracing causes that uplift communities and spark meaningful change. Whether it’s supporting organizations that champion inclusivity, empowering underserved voices, or fostering sustainability, our mission goes beyond products - it’s about making the world a little brighter. ❤️   We invite our community to join us in spreading kindness this Giving Tuesday and every day. Let’s uplift, empower and give back together.

  • How does Kory Marchisotto ‘get it done’? 🚀 Get ready to be e.l.f.ing inspired! The Cut just dropped an amazing article featuring our Chief Marketing Officer, Kory Marchisotto – and trust us, it’s a must-read. 👀  This article dives into her leadership style and reveals how she’s helping e.l.f. redefine what’s possible in beauty and beyond. Here are some standout lessons from Kory’s approach: ✨“Balance is BS. If 80% of your life is work, make sure it’s with people you love, doing what you love, and making an impact you’re proud of.” ✨From viral campaigns like Power Grip Primer with Joey King to bold moves like the “So Many Dicks” initiative tackling boardroom inequality, Kory shows that innovation and purpose are a powerful duo. ✨Accessibility is a very dynamic word and it can mean many different things. e.l.f. provides access to worlds in which our community has been shut out of - from the best of beauty to the boardroom. ✨ Find your true north and stick to it. It’s the unique combination of when your head, heart and soul are completely aligned. In order for that to be true, you need to know who you are. Our marketing engine has fueled us to new heights and surpassing $1 billion in sales - and if you know e.l.f., we’re just getting started.
