Selena Gomez started Rare Beauty to make you feel good, without hiding what makes you unique. Her goal was to change the conversation around beauty and create a community where everyone is welcome exactly as they are. At Rare Beauty, each day is a celebration of you—every side of you. This campaign is a love letter to the you that’s bold, the you that’s soft, the you that holds everyone up, and the you that needs to be held… You are Rare. Love your Rare.

We were thrilled to kick off our highly anticipated Summer Associates Program last week! The Rare Beauty Summer Associates Program is more than just an internship; it's an immersive journey into our vibrant company culture. Our talented group of 10 associates engaged in a full day of activities designed to inspire, engage, and empower. First, our associates bonded together over a painting activity featuring the Rare Beauty canvas tote bags. Following a full company meet and greet complete with a taco bar, it was time for a brand presentation, where our associates got an inside look into our company's mission, values, culture, campaigns and more! Lastly, we wrapped up the day with a mindfulness activity, reminding ourselves of the importance of balance and well-being. A huge shoutout to our incredible associates for diving in with enthusiasm! We're beyond excited to see what the rest of the program holds and the amazing things you all will achieve. Dezia Washington Lanaè Keller M. Last week, we announced our 2023 Rare Beauty Social Impact Report along with hosting our third annual Rare Beauty Mental Health Summit. We are proud to continue making strides towards giving people the tools they need to feel less alone in the world. This would not be possible without our team, global community, and partnerships with mental health advocates, experts, creators, and non-profit grantees. Thank you to our amazing speakers: Founder Selena Gomez, Vivek Murthy, Elyse Cohen, Judith Martinez, Jessi Gold, Adriana Alejandre, Marc Brackett, Konscious Youth Development & Service, Taylor Dome Lautner, Tramaine EL-Amin, Cynthia Di Meo, Carla Cassandra Samson, Laura Erickson-Schroth, Priya Parker, and Katie Welch. We’re proud to be founded on inclusivity, and we’re expanding our definition with the Made Accessible Initiative. Because of her personal experience, Selena has always been drawn to packaging that’s easy to open and close, hold, and apply. When we started hearing your feedback about how accessible *you* find our products, we wanted to know more. We partnered with the Casa Colina Research Institute (CCRI), part of Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare, to identify features that make our products easy to open and close, hold, or apply for individuals with dexterity issues. Since then, seven products have aligned with our Made Accessible Initiative. And this is only the beginning! We’re so grateful to our community for pushing this conversation and inspiring this program. This is makeup made to feel good in—and to feel good using. About Casa Colina: Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare is a nonprofit provider of specialized medical and rehabilitative care for people with disabling conditions resulting from accidents, disease, or illness. CCRI brings together doctors, scientists, and other rehabilitation professionals who conduct basic, translational, and clinical research, striving to transform scientific advances into improved patient care and outcomes.
