One of the things that motivates me most is Cummins Inc.'s commitment to leading the industry and our customers into the next era of smarter, cleaner power. Part of how we do that effectively is by understanding our customers’ varied power needs, what’s working well with their businesses and how Cummins Inc. can best support them as they navigate the energy transition. Last month, we checked in with multiple customers to get their thoughts on the X15N, our most powerful natural gas engine and the first in our HELM line-up of engines to hit our customers’ fleets. A few facts about the Cummins X15N: ▶️ Weighs less than our current X15 diesel engine ▶️ Has power ratings up to 500 horsepower ▶️ Has torque up to 1850 pound-feet Read what our customers are saying: https://lnkd.in/evuhEpK5.

We're excited to partner with Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) on the design and build of their new state-of-the-art hydrogen fueling station. RTA plans to initially operate 5 fuel cell buses when the station opens and will grow its fleet to over 100 hydrogen-powered buses over the next decade. The new facility will play a central role in RTA’s commitment to transition to a zero-emission vehicle fleet. “Hydrogen offers a reliable solution for long routes and this new station will support RTA’s goals to serve their community cleanly for years to come.” Read more: https://ce.news/3DbhpCg #CleanEnergyFuels #Hydrogen

Clean Energy and the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts have expanded a #renewablenaturalgas station in Carson. This facility will provide clean #RNG fuel to the public, as well as to the Districts' vehicles, local public transit buses, waste haulers, and heavy-duty trucks. The new upgraded location will dispense RNG produced from wastewater and organic waste processed at the Districts’ A.K. Warren Water Resource Facility, and the remaining fuel will be 100 percent RNG supplied by Clean Energy via utility pipelines. The site is also fitted out with four dispensers that can accommodate Class 8 trucks, purpose-built for heavy-duty fleets looking to adopt alternative clean fuels like RNG ahead of the launch of Cummins Inc.’ new #X15N 15-liter natural gas engine in 2025. #ICYMI 👏 The Coalition for Renewable Natural Gas (RNG Coalition) supports the California Air Resources Board's (CARB) decision to approve proposed amendments to California's Low Carbon Fuel Standard (#LCFS), after a lengthy rulemaking process intended to increase programmatic ambition. "Today’s vote marks a powerful step forward in California’s journey of climate leadership," said Sam Wade, RNG Coalition's Director of Public Policy. "With the Low Carbon Fuel Standard, the state has shown what’s possible in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by displacing over 60% of the state’s diesel supply with cleaner alternatives. #RNG #RenewableGas #Advocacy #Sustainability
