Today, RNG Coalition Founder & CEO Johannes D. Escudero, Federal Affairs Director Geoffrey Dietz and Legal & Regulatory Counsel Sandra Franco provided testimony during EPA's public hearing on a proposed waiver for 2024 cellulosic biofuel standards under the U.S. Renewable Fuel Standard. RNG Coalition was joined by industry members in challenging EPA's retroactive waiver on 2024 volumes, underscoring that such a decision will harm future investments and the operation of the RFS program. Investment certainty is necessary for ensuring the sustainable growth of #renewablenaturalgas and other clean fuels critical to the #decarbonization of the U.S. transportation market, and we look forward to continuing our engagement with EPA around ensuring a strong, stable and ambitious RFS program. #RNG #Leadership #Advocacy

RNG Coalition is pleased to share significant progress in advancing renewable natural gas (RNG) access and development across the United States. 👏 Yesterday, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved the Coalition-supported Florida Gas Transmission (FGT) RNG Settlement. This pivotal decision represents a major step forward for integrating RNG into U.S. gas energy infrastructure, establishing precedent for quality and operational benchmarks that enhance safety and reliability for RNG flowing through FGT pipelines. #Development #Sustainability #RNG #RenewableNaturalGas

"Looking back, our #RNG journey began with a simple but powerful vision: to turn waste into a clean energy resource to help decarbonize our existing energy supply and infrastructure. Early on, we encountered significant hurdles — including political challenges, legislative and regulatory barriers, and skeptics who questioned whether RNG could scale enough to justify the cost and help meet North America’s growing energy demands. But a dedicated group of innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and community leaders believed in its potential. They saw what RNG could mean for the environment, our economy, and the future of energy, and they made it happen." ~ Johannes D. Escudero (Founder & CEO) Read the just released report: Economic Impact Assessment of the RNG Industry at https://lnkd.in/exWxJmA4.

RNG Coalition supports Congressman Jim Costa (CA-21) as the right choice to serve as Ranking Member of the U.S. House Agriculture Committee in the 119th Congress. With nearly two decades in Congress and a strong track record of advancing sustainable agriculture and alternative energy, the Congressman is roundly qualified to guide this important committee. As a third-generation farmer from California's Central Valley, Congressman Costa understands the environmental and economic challenges facing rural America. His leadership has been instrumental in promoting renewable natural gas (#RNG) development, helping farmers turn agricultural waste into low-carbon energy that supports decarbonization, clean air and broader economic opportunity for all Americans. RNG Coalition looks forward to working with the Congressman as we advocate and educate for the sustainable development, deployment and utilization of RNG. #RenewableNaturalGas #SustainableAgriculture #CleanEnergyFuture #Leadership
