🌟 Exciting News 🌟 Blue Frontier, Inc., in partnership with the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and the United States Department of Defense’s Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (SERDP & ESTCP), has deployed two ultra-efficient air conditioning units at Fort Moore, Georgia, and a bowling alley in Westover Air Reserve Base in Massachusetts. This initiative helps address one of the DoD's most critical energy challenges: ensuring reliable and efficient heating, cooling, and water heating across its 500+ bases and 300,000 buildings worldwide. As DIU Energy Portfolio Director Andrew Higier Ph.D.., put it: "Installation energy programs like this support an incredibly important national mission to increase the efficiency of heating and cooling needs at our stateside and foreign bases, in the long run saving dollars that can be applied to personnel and other needs." Blue Frontier, Inc. was competitively selected from a pool of 40 contenders to contribute to this critical national mission. 📖 Read more about this groundbreaking initiative here: https://lnkd.in/eQTA4RTJ #Innovation #EnergyEfficiency #BlueFrontier #DIU #DefenseTechnology #Sustainability #MissionSuccess

Smart, ultra-efficient and data integrated Air Conditioner with Energy Storage
About us
Blue Frontier has pioneered an innovative smart air conditioning system that operates with ultra-high efficiency. By adjusting the concentration of a salt solution, we achieve cooling with minimal energy consumption. This breakthrough enables our air conditioner to utilize less than half the electricity conventional systems require. Moreover, our A/C can operate without drawing electricity during its functioning, allowing us to shift energy consumption to non-peak periods—when electricity costs are lower and predominantly sourced from renewable energy. Beyond the imperative of energy conservation, our air conditioning system stands out as a superior alternative. Our technology enables the independent regulation of humidity and air temperature, a feat challenging to achieve with traditional A/C systems. Combined with intelligent distributed control systems, this capability ensures a consistent optimal comfort experience—never too hot or too cold, but just right.

What an inspiring event at the Global Ties Miami on the final day of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) group's visit—a powerful example of collaboration and innovative thinking in the face of climate challenges. As our CEO, Dr. Daniel Betts, PhD, MBA, eloquently said about the event: "...𝐴𝑙𝑙 𝑠𝑦𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑚𝑠 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑒𝑑—𝑠𝑜𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑙/𝑐𝑢𝑙𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑎𝑙, 𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑐, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑒𝑛𝑣𝑖𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑙—𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟 𝑒𝑛𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑛. 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑛𝑒𝑤𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑟𝑔𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑧𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡𝑟𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑜 𝑓𝑖𝑔𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠." From Miami-Dade County Mayor, Daniella Levine Cava’s vision for resilience to Miami-Dade’s Chief Heat Officer, Jane Gilbert’s insights on combating extreme heat, to a multidisciplinary panel of experts and youth climate activists—this day reaffirmed that no single sector or community can tackle climate challenges alone. The solutions we seek lie in our ability to work together, bridging perspectives and empowering action. Let’s keep the momentum going—every step forward counts! 🌱✨ #ClimateResilience #CollaborationForChange #GlobalTiesMiami #IVLP #Sustainability
The final day of our IVLP group's visit was an inspiring Plenary Day, filled with valuable insights and collaborative discussions on climate resilience. We kicked off the day with welcoming remarks from Athena Passera PhD, President & CEO of Global Ties Miami, and a thought-provoking address by Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. Mayor Cava shared her vision and strategies for strengthening our community’s resilience in the face of climate change, emphasizing the need for innovative solutions and collective action. Following the Mayor's address, we were honored to hear from Jane Gilbert, Miami-Dade’s Chief Heat Officer, who highlighted the growing threat of extreme heat and the vital strategies being implemented to protect vulnerable populations. The panel discussion, featuring voices from various sectors including Adam Roberti from the Xavier Cortada, Jill Horwitz from the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Michael Berkowitz from the University of Miami Climate Resilience Institute, Francesca de Quesada Covey from the Office of the Mayor, and Daniel Betts, PhD, MBA from Blue Frontier, Inc., explored multifaceted approaches to climate challenges. Their unique perspectives showcased how collaboration across disciplines can drive effective solutions for a sustainable future. The day also included engaging presentations by Amanda Di Perna, who inspired attendees with her work in youth engagement for climate activism, and Nicole Crooks, who addressed the importance of climate justice in Miami. Thank you to all the speakers and participants for your commitment to creating a resilient and sustainable future. Your insights and passion will undoubtedly inspire action within our communities!
