Today, Flikkema Innovation Management & Consultancy (FIMC) is in the spotlight as part of our social media campaign "Meet our members". FIMC is a young innovation management and consultancy company offering support to the waterborne sector, bringing innovations to the market and utilising the collaborative strength of the sector. FIMC was founded in 2021 and originates from a one man company that started in 2018. With a strong network in and knowledge of the waterborne sector, FIMC combines experience in innovative transitions with in depth knowledge of the sector and it’s technology. Maarten Flikkema, owner of FIMC: “I have been working in the waterborne sector since I graduated from TU Delft in 2006, our unique contribution compared to many other consultants is our technical knowledge of the sector, it’s challenges and our strong network within the sector. For FIMC joining the WaterborneTP provides a mutual opportunity to build on strong consortia and collaborations to address the sectors challenges and opportunities.”

The General Assembly Meeting for the 25th month of the Optiwise EU project took place from June 12th to June 14th at the Università degli Studi di Genova in Italy 🇮🇹. It was a full three-day gathering with a productive GA Meeting, where all partners shared #updates on project #progress, discussed #challenges, and outlined future steps. It really is a shame that the Dutch Growthfund had been put on hold. The Growthfund was a good opportunity to make major steps in innovations that are critical for the growth and stability of the Dutch economy. A knowledge economy like the Dutch thrives on innovation.
