  • At Acton Gardens, our £800m regeneration of the former South Acton estate in west London with L&Q and Ealing Council (London Borough of Ealing), we have started works on the 1000th affordable home following a groundbreaking ceremony for Phases 9.3, 9.5 and 9.6 earlier this month.   Designed by Pollard Thomas Edwards Architects, the new phases will provide 215 new homes, of which 50% will be affordable (on a habitable room basis) – reflecting the commitment across the regeneration to deliver 50% affordable housing. With 966 affordable homes (of which 80% are for social rent) delivered across Acton Gardens so far, the new phases will include the delivery of the regeneration’s 1000th affordable home, demonstrating how our 50% affordable housing commitment is making a difference, with energy-efficient, high-quality new homes helping to address the urgent housing need in Ealing.

  • The next phase of the Top Farm Development in Nuneaton has been approved, with plans for 479 new homes moving forward. This project is a key step for the joint venture between Vistry Group, Warwickshire Property and Development Group (WPDG), and Warwickshire County Council and will include 120 affordable homes, 135 private rentals, and 124 open market homes, along with a park, BMX track, and balancing ponds.   Sustainable features include air source heat pumps and EV charging points, while a new northern link road will connect the community to a new secondary school, opening in 2025 to support 900 pupils.   Phil McHugh, Managing Director for Vistry’s North West Midlands, said, “We are excited to get planning approval for the next phase of much-needed homes at Top Farm. Getting the green light to build a further 479 family homes marks another milestone in our commitment to delivering over 2,000 high-quality, affordable homes that enhance communities..”   With £2.5 billion invested, we are committed to building a community with more opportunities and a sustainable future for Warwickshire residents.

  • This winter we celebrated the opening of Peel Plaza and the recent completion of Phases 2 and 3 of Peel Precinct, the latest milestones at our development with Home Group and Brent Council in South Kilburn that is delivering 328 new homes, with 44% of these affordable.   To mark the occasion, we hosted the Your South Kilburn Winter Fair, with hot food and drinks funded by our Social Value fund, local traders selling Christmas gifts, an activities marquee and face-painting, as well as stands providing information about the development and wider South Kilburn Regeneration programme, which is one of the largest and most ambitious schemes of its kind in London. There was a live music set featuring local band Trapiche Arts with Loretta Haywood, performing soul/reggae classics and Christmas songs, before Deputy Mayor Cllr Ryan Hack switched on the Christmas tree lights and declared Peel Plaza formally open.   With the final phase of Peel Precinct now under construction and due to complete in 2026, we are delighted to celebrate this huge milestone in our work in South Kilburn. Peel Plaza will provide a new space for the community to come together and it was wonderful to see such a big turnout of longstanding and new residents of South Kilburn enjoying and celebrating this great new place.

A big thank you to our partners, including Salford City Council’s Ceremonial Mayor, Cllr Tanya Burch, for joining us to celebrate this milestone.
