West Midlands team hosts successful collection for Telford Crisis Support 🤝 A #Telford-based foodbank has received a boost, thanks to a collection drive held by the team at West Midlands.   Members of the team volunteered their time to collecting a range of foods to be donated to the foodbank, which helps to end food poverty in and around the Shropshire town. In total, £285 worth of products were donated.   Founded in 2013, Telford Crisis Support has been a volunteer-led organisation utilising a range of experience and expertise from its board of trustees and operational volunteers to aid those within the community who need it most. #PersimmonHomes

Central helps Kenilworth get into the Christmas spirit 🎄 Our Central team is helping a #Warwickshire town get into the festive spirit, thanks to the sponsorship of two Christmas trees in the town’s most popular areas.   The trees – provided by Warwick District Council – will be on display until early January and will give the team the opportunity to raise its profile further in the area, where it is developing its Thickthorn Gardens and Kenilworth Gate communities. #PersimmonHomes

🏡 Exciting Progress at Trehenlis Gardens in Helston! 🏡 Plans to bring 404 new homes to #Helston have reached a major milestone, with Cornwall Council granting planning permission for the second phase of our Trehenlis Gardens development. This means we can now begin work on the remaining 310 properties, including 101 affordable homes for local people on the Council’s housing waiting list. Key features of the second phase include: 🌳 Public green spaces and noise buffer mounds 🚴 New cycle and footpaths connecting the wider area 🛠️ Substantial investment in local infrastructure and education Three and four-bedroom homes are currently available for purchase at Trehenlis Gardens from £295,000. As part of our commitment to the region, we also donate £24,000 annually through our Community Champions scheme to local organisations, including Cornwall Air Ambulance, Museum of Cornish Life, and Helston AFC. #PersimmonHomes 

⚽ Supporting the future of girls’ football in Bishopton! 🎉 Persimmon West Scotland has donated £3,000 to the #Bishopton FC Girls Academy, helping the club provide essential kits and training gear for its rapidly growing roster of players. Since its establishment in 2021, the Academy has expanded from 50 to 120 players, reflecting the rising popularity of girls’ football and the growth of the local community. The club’s success stems from its commitment to offering young girls a supportive and inclusive environment to play and thrive. With this donation, every player – regardless of age or size – will have the gear needed to participate in training and matches, ensuring no one is left on the sidelines. The club has also worked hard through community events and internal fundraising, but sponsorship like this is vital to their continued growth and success. Blairgowrie plans given the greenlight 🏡 Perth & Kinross Council has approved Persimmon North Scotland's plans for 152 energy-efficient new homes near Dunkeld Road in #Blairgowrie. This development will deliver a range of high-quality homes, from two to five bedrooms, designed to meet local housing needs and offer affordable routes to homeownership. Key highlights include: 🌞 Energy-efficient features like solar panels and EV charging points for sustainable living. 🌳 Open public spaces and recreational areas for the community. 💧 A detailed drainage strategy to enhance flood resilience. 📚 Over £800,000 invested to support local schools. 👷 Nearly 100 construction jobs and 70 supply chain jobs created annually. 🎁 Spreading Christmas Cheer at James Paget Hospital 🎄 This festive season, Persimmon Anglia was proud to donate over 60 gifts to the Dementia Ward at James Paget Hospital. The donations included sensory toys, memory games, puzzles, and comfort items like weighted blankets – all designed to support individuals with dementia. The idea came from our Sales Advisor, Liz Sands, at the Bluebell Meadow development. Inspired by several purchasers who work at the hospital just two miles away, Elizabeth wanted to bring some extra Christmas joy to those who need it most.
