The Maritime LEGO Project has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Maritime UK Solent Awards 2024 - Future Skills category. The project was conceived during a conversation with a friend and colleague from Cowes Enterprise College an Ormiston Academy, Andy Green, 3 years ago. I went away & developed the idea into the project it has become - 1600 learners and potential future maritime sector employees have participated in the activity. The Terra Marique recently offloaded 2 boilers at the The Port of Mostyn. Working on behalf of Allelys the cargo was loaded direct from a heavy lift vessel at @Portland Port & Portland Harbour Authority Ltd, UK and following a 3 day sea passage safely unloaded at Mostyn.
