Allelys are delighted to announce the appointment of Sandy White as Engineering Director. Sandy joined the company in September and has assumed full responsibility for all engineering activities within the business. “I’ve been working in the industry for 29 years, so it’s great to start a new challenge, but with familiar equipment and some familiar faces too. The way that Allelys has consistently invested in the latest technologies really attracted me to the role and demonstrates the commitment to delivering industry leading solutions. It’s been an enjoyable first few weeks and the positive attitude of the whole team has really shone through. I’ve worked in a range of roles previously, from Project Engineer and Senior Engineer through to Engineering Manager and General Manager. I’m now looking forward to combining this experience with the enthusiasm of the team to take the engineering discipline within Allelys to the next level.” Sandy White, Engineering Director at Allelys. “It’s a pleasure to welcome Sandy to the business. Allelys delivered a turnkey solution to complete a 6.60m high strand jack gantry lift at Lostock Sustainable Energy Plant "This project was a clear demonstration of the engineering capabilities within the Allelys business. Our engineering team developed a bespoke strand jack system design concept, and overbridging design, to ensure the successful delivery and installation of these critical components,” Explained Garnaud Tsika, Commercial Manager at Allelys. “We also showcased our agility and flexibility when faced with unexpected ground loading constraints on site. Allelys have successfully delivered the first of two saturated reactors from Stafford to Ellesmere Port. A solution was engineered using our faktor 5 girder frame to overcome the unusual shape of the cargo and to counteract the offset centre of gravity. #heavylift #specialisttransport #heavytransport
