We are always grateful to work with some great local organisations. This morning we received a lovely email from Common Purpose thanking us for our generosity and goodwill and recognising the impact we have made together in inspiring young leaders when they visited us earlier this year. It was our pleasure to host these inspiring young people as part of the legacy 150 programme and to work with such a fantastic organisation.

With COP 29 currently taking place, we're all reminded that we urgently need to do what we can to slow climate change. One way we’re doing this is by making our patient dining more environmentally friendly. Working with Sodexo, we’ve introduced new menus that will reduce our carbon impact from patient dining by over 30% in the next two years by incorporating more sustainable ingredients, plant-based alternatives and reducing meat content. We’re proud to be able to offer menus that encourage our patients to make healthy, more sustainable choices while also helping us reach our net-zero ambitions. #climatechange #sustainability #healthcare #buildingahealthiernation

Moderate exercise Moderate exercise helps break down stress hormones and promote the release of ‘feel-good’ endorphins. 2. Quality sleep Sleep is where you repair both mind and body, so make sure you’re getting enough of it. 3. Healthy eating A healthy and balanced diet that’s rich in minerals and nutrients will help your body cope better with stress triggers. 4. Avoid stimulants If you’re already stressed, try to avoid stimulants like caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol. 5. Relaxation techniques Find a relaxation technique that works for you.
