Some of our dedicated Business and Finance team from Rowley Hall Hospital recently swapped their computers for litter pickers to help clean up Rowley Park Sports Stadium in Stafford.🌿 The team of six spent the day collecting litter as a gesture of gratitude to Freedom Leisure, who run the park on behalf of Stafford Borough Council and kindly allow hospital staff to park on the grounds. They managed to collect several bags of rubbish throughout the day, demonstrating their commitment to community spirit and sustainability. Kerry Williams, Hospital Director, shared: "We wanted to show our appreciation to Freedom Leisure for their generosity. Our team’s Giving Back Day was a great way to say thank you while helping to keep this popular community space clean and tidy." 🔒 Mark Nicholls, Head of Information Security, Risk & Compliance at Ramsay Health Care, has been recognised for outstanding contributions to the UK cybersecurity sector with an induction into the CSO Online Hall of Fame, at their annual awards evening. The CSO30 UK Awards are a prestigious accolade in the field of cybersecurity, recognising the top 30 Chief Security Officers (CSOs) and security leaders in the United Kingdom. These awards celebrate those who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and strategic vision in protecting their organisations from the ever evolving and increasingly sophisticated cyber threat landscape. It is the second time Mark has been recognised as one of the top 30 security leaders, having previously been acknowledged in 2021 during this first year at Ramsay.   The CSO Hall of Fame celebrates exceptional leadership in the field of cybersecurity, honouring those who have made significant strides in the field. Mark’s induction specifically called out his work promoting diversity and inclusion in security teams, being an ambassador for positive mental health, and his strong leadership. Mark shared: “It is an immense honour to be inducted into the CSO30 UK Hall of Fame. It is a recognition of my commitment over the past 20-plus years to safeguard people, information and business operations, and it also highlights the importance of diversity within our security team."

Initiated by the Berkshire Independent Hospital, BOBSLN has fostered open dialogue on patient safety, implemented innovative risk assessments, and significantly reduced critical incidents.
