GeoGrow were able to offer a bio-engineering system of both soft & hard techniques to provide scour protection to stream banks at Sanders Park. ✅ Rock-Rolls were installed to provide a robust and permanent erosion protection system, delivering scour protection at the toe of the bank & erosion protection to the upper bank. River Kenwater provides a stunning example of how Rootlok can blend seamlessly with natural beauty. This breathtaking view showcases how GeoGrow carefully restored the flood defence bund showing why nature and Rootlok work in harmony. 🌿 With the Environment Agency keen to implement a sustainable, natural solution, the goal was to stabilise and restore the critical flood defence infrastructure while enhancing the landscapes ecological value. GeoGrow rose to the challenge, using innovative techniques to deliver a solution that not only benefits residents by ensuring safety and flood resilience but also provides a haven for local wildlife to thrive, contributing significantly to Biodiversity Net Gain. 🌎🐝🌸 ✨The result is this picturesque landscape, a serene combination of flowing water, lush greenery, and restored habitats, demonstrating how we can create spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. 📍Project: Oldbury Substation (National Grid Site) 🛠️Scope of Works: GeoGrow successfully Hydroseeded a 1,500m² area with a custom Wildlife Grass and Wildflower seed mix designed to enhance Biodiversity Net Gain. Additionally, a four-rail post-and-rail fence was installed, with white shrub varieties planted along the fence line to replace lost vegetation. 💪Challenges and Resolutions: 1. Overgrown Topsoil Covered with Weeds Challenge: The site’s topsoil was heavily overgrown, making it unsuitable for immediate seeding. Resolution: A quad bike with a flail attachment was used to clear and prepare the area for seeding. 2. High Voltage Overhead Cables Challenge: High voltage overhead cable, posed a safety hazard during Hydroseeding works. Resolution: The Hydroseeding methodology was adapted to ensure safety, this was also approved by National Grid. 3. Streetlight Cable along the Fence Line Challenge: A streetlight cable along the proposed fence line required careful navigation to avoid damage. Resolution: The team used a CAT and Genny device to locate and map the cable’s position and depth, then adjusted the fence alignment creating a 300mm gap behind the fence to ensure safe installation. ✅Outcome: The site was effectively de-weeded, Hydroseeding was completed safely and within schedule despite challenges on site. The newly landscaped area now contributes to Biodiversity Net Gain, fostering the development of natural habitats and supporting local wildlife. This project demonstrates GeoGrow’s commitment to sustainable landscaping and ecological enhancement. Greenwich Park: A Hydroseeding Transformation✨ We were thrilled to be selected to complete the Hydroseeding works at Greenwich Park, covering an impressive 12,000m². We applied a grass seed mix tailored for acidic and sandy soils to craft this picturesque landscape, complementing the surrounding location of iconic landmarks: the historic Queen’s House, the world-famous Royal Observatory, and the stunning view of Canary Wharf nearby. 📍 The grand ascent was Hydroseeded in February 2024, followed by the parterre in October. This showcases the effectiveness of our Hydroseeding application, illustrating how quickly we can transform barren landscapes into thriving, more aesthetically pleasing environments. 🌿🌸 #Transformation #Landmarks #Landscape

GeoGrow successfully installed 18 external tree pits at the entrance of a housing development for Lindum Group. These tree pits were elevated to match the level of the footpath, using our Rootlok Vegtated Retaining Wall System which establishes to give a fully vegetated landscape finish. ✅🌱 Due to our system being so dynamic, we were able to encompass site contours to form these tree pits. As shown in the images, the site is beginning to transform into a stunning landscape as the vegetation takes root and flourishes. 🌿 #TreePits #Rootlok #Landscape
