Here's what made our recent Positive Leadership Residential stand out and why businesses should consider this approach:     1) Outstanding Feedback from Participants   100% participants said they would recommend the retreat to others.   The balance of learning and reflection was rated as exceptional. 100% of attendees rated the programme as either ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’.     2) Comprehensive and Impactful Content   The curriculum focused on essential leadership skills, including Emotional Agility, Strengths-Based Leadership, and Positive Communication. These sessions were specifically designed to address both personal and professional challenges leaders face today and preparing for tomorrow’s.   3) Immersive Environment for Reflection   The remote, carefully chosen venue created a space where participants could disconnect from daily demands and focus entirely on development. As one attendee commented, "The location transported us out of the norm and allowed us to fully invest in the experience."   4) Supportive and Expert Facilitation   The programme was praised for creating a safe space for learning and vulnerability. Our facilitators Charlotte, Tim, and Olivia were described as "patient, perceptive, and always on hand with clear feedback," ensuring participants felt supported throughout.     5) Practical Outcomes   Participants left with actionable insights and strategies to enhance team performance. One attendee shared, "I came away with many 'aha moments' and a renewed understanding of how to be a better leader."   Residential leadership programmes offer a unique way to develop leadership skills in an environment that encourages focus, reflection, and connection. • Thank you to Transact for inviting us to facilitate this powerful workshop programme focusing on Supporting Vulnerable Customers, and to Emma NewberrySophie Comer and Scott Lovegrove for championing this initiative.   Supporting vulnerable customers in the financial services sector is a complex challenge that requires more than simply training employees on the FCA requirements and reporting procedures. It requires that all colleagues develop:   1. Skills to identify vulnerabilities efficiently through limited interactions 2. A deeper understanding of the needs of vulnerable customers to promote empathy 3. Motivation to be proactive in addressing possible vulnerabilities when they are identified 4. Confidence to navigate conversations with vulnerable customers appropriately 5. Commitment to completing all reporting requirements amidst a fast-paced working environment 6. Personal resilience skills to manage the emotional demands of supporting vulnerabilities in others   It is great to see companies like Transact going a step beyond the essential mandatory training programmes to ensure their colleagues are empowered to offer more effective support to their customers, and are committed to doing so. Thanks to Jo Wood for hosting this session from Charlotte Wiseman Leadership and Wellbeing Consultants. We look forward to building on the success of this programme in 2025

  • We are looking forward to hosting the first 'Beat The Winter Blues' Workshop this week for Capital Group. This session includes a range of science-backed seasonal tips to help people maintain their motivation, boost their mood and improve their wellbeing through the darker months. Here are 5 of the top nutrition tips from the workshop, provided by one of our expert nutritionists Dan Richardson: 1. Eat oily fish like salmon and sardines 2 to 3 times a week to improve your brain health – Rich in Omega-3s they support optimal cognitive performance and can help combat seasonal slumps. 2. Proiritise eating seasonal root vegetables to boost your energy and your mood – Sweet potatoes, carrots, and parsnips are packed with complex carbs that help maintain steady energy and serotonin levels. 3. Add leafy winter greens to your diet – Kale, spinach, and Brussels sprouts are high in folate, which is known to help with mood regulation. 4. Aim to snack on seasonal nuts and seeds to reduce stress and maintain clarity of thought – Walnuts and sunflower seeds are high in magnesium, which can help reduce stress and improve cognitive performance. 5. Use spices like cinnamon and ginger in your meals to prevent illness and add a spring to your step – These warming spices not only add flavour but also have anti-inflammatory and mood-boosting properties. Follow us here for more top tips or, for more details on our Specialist Seasonal workshop collection, please email info@charlottewiseman.com.

  • What often holds us back from reaching our full potential isn't our ability, but the belief that we can succeed. Self-belief is a key factor that distinguishes “Unhelpful Stress” from “Positive Pressure.” To set ourselves up for success, it's essential to get our inner narrative right. These are some powerful, Performance-Enhancing Thoughts and Mindsets created by the Agria Pet Insurance team yesterday, during our "Creating a High-Impact Presentation" Masterclass. What thoughts and mindsets set you up for success and help you perform at your best? Share them below to remind yourself and inspire others! Thanks to Charlotte Wiseman and Chris Wood for facilitating this session, to Michele Ransley and Vicki Wentworth for inviting us to support their leadership teams' development, and to all who attended for your engagement and commitment to personal development. AND if you're interested in elevating your presentation skills or refining your personal brand, let us know—we’d love to share more about our latest science-backed Presentation Skills and Personal Brand Masterclass Series.

  • Looking to boost your happiness? We recently came across the concept of dishabituation—a technique to reawaken joy by breaking out of routine. Our brains adapt to familiar experiences, making them less impactful over time. By shaking things up—whether it’s taking a new route to work, trying a different hobby, or simply taking a small break —you can ‘reset’ your brain's response and rediscover joy in everyday life. Simple changes can make a big difference! Learn more about this brain hack here: https://lnkd.in/ema5qetZ
