Corporate Innovation and Transformation

Om os

We help ambitious businesses grow through thriving innovation ecosystems and transforming how people work together - by being able to respond to change fast. The companies we work with aspire to develop business that is better for themselves and for the planet. And they are passionate about humanising growth by always putting people first. We believe in unlikely innovation partnerships, in diverse teams, and in testing business ideas and opportunities outside of our comfort zones. When unlikely and complementary capabilities and experience meet, we are able to create value way beyond what is possible alone. This is how we help our clients reduce the risk and cost of doing something ambitious and new.

  • Happy Holidays from all of us at nlmtd (DK). And thank you to all of our clients for making 2024 a year to remember. ♥️ In nlmtd (DK) we have decided not to focus on buying presents. Instead we are investing in a Holiday / Christmas initiative. This year's initiative is a sponsorship of a Biohut, also called a Fish nursery, at Klintholm Harbour. Biohuts are designed to restore maritime ecosystems by creating safe havens, breeding grounds and shelters for young and small fish. So a big thanks to all of our clients for making this possible and creating a huge impact for a minor harbour and the oceanlife surrounding it. Best holiday wishes from the entire nlmtd (DK) Pia Wendelbo Denisa Pirhalová Tabea Nafz Rikke Thomsen Kornby Monta sir Benali Maz Spork Maria Grabowska

  • We are super thrilled 🙏🏻 From 1st of January 2025 we will move into a new office at The Library at Bragesgade at Nørrebro. The Library is a superb next step for us as a company to grow with neighbours all focusing on climate, biodiversity and making an impact for people, communities and of course our planet. Thanks to Kim Bek for making this happen. And thanks to the growing team of nlmtd (DK) for being open and curious and especially to Tabea Nafz and Denisa Pirhalová for already planning our first "Afterwork Bar", events, network meetings and more.

  • Is there a new blue star on the construction horizon? Our colleague Tabea Nafz attended Building Green DK event this week, which showcased many interesting perspectives on where the building sector is heading. While recycled and “greener” land-based materials were all around, an alternative blue biomass caught her interest. Bio-based regenerative materials from the ocean such as seaweed and seagrass possess unique ‘fire-proof’ and insulation functionalities while at the same time absorbing carbon from the atmosphere and increasing biodiversity in our oceans. The link between sustainability & performance as a necessity in order to scale, was one key takeaways from the panel debate around “Build with blue biomass”. Rumors spread that the Copenhagen metro line M5 which has a CO2 reduction target of 50% compared to the M4 might introduce some of these new materials to reach their sustainability goals. 👀🚉 Tabea Nafz shared to nlmtd (DK) how was nice it was to see that the talks are shifting from only focusing on climate to more emphasis on biodiversity. An interesting panel debate by idverde DK “Naturen i byen 2050” tackled the topic of how we can invite nature back into our (city) lives. While there are many different paths, one thing is for sure: We need to prioritize space for nature to grow! We cannot wait to see a more green Copenhagen with buildings based on new, regenerative materials where people can re-connect back to their surroundings, both to nature and people! 🌱🌊🏢 #futureproofcities #humanisinginnovation #buildinggreen

  • At nlmtd, we believe that humanizing change is crucial because, at its core, it’s all about people. The way we talk about change plays a big role in how we perceive and approach it. Our language influences how we see the world, and if we want to create meaningful, lasting transformations, we need to speak in ways that prioritize the human aspect. As a partner at nlmtd, this resonates deeply with me. My passion has always been to drive change in a way that humanizes processes and brings people to the forefront. In our latest post we highlight the importance of embedding the human element in everything we do. Here's something to reflect on: What’s the point of having cutting-edge technology, sleek designs, and streamlined processes if the very people making it happen don’t find meaning in it or feel it’s contributing positively to their well-being and society at large?

What is the purpose of creating cutting-edge technology, designs, and efficient working processes if people making it possible don't experience it as meaningful and beneficial for not them and for the society as a whole.   According to DST (Danish Statistics), the number of people suffering from stress and other mental disorders has increased substantially year on year. An increase we believe is also impacted by how we continue to use engineering language to make our employees work faster, smarter, more efficient, etc. We talk as if we are all machines!   Reach out to Rikke Thomsen Kornby on rikke@nlmtd.com to start re-connecting.
