"The launch of DuitNow QR Cross-Border is a significant milestone for the Malaysian payment ecosystem. It empowers MSME merchant partners with a secure and efficient solution while providing tourists with a hassle-free way to make purchases, boosting spending and enriching the overall travel experience in Malaysia." - Kevin Lee Adding to this momentum, Tealive is already leveraging this feature to attract Chinese tourists with a Weixin Pay (WeChat Pay) campaign. 📊 The impact? #GHL is grateful and proud to have participated in the COP29 panel discussion organized by Climate Governance Malaysia (CGM) and supported by the CEO Action Network, as part of the Malaysia Pavilion UNFCCC #COP29. This important session, titled "Shift for Sustainability: Climate Action Now – Future Proofing Our Environment," brought together leaders from the private sector, including Nurul Ain Abdul Latif, Executive Chair of PwC Malaysia; Gurdip S. Sidhu, CEO of CIMB BANK BERHAD; and Kok Wai C., Lead Secretariat, CEO Action Network and Group Head, Legal Compliance and Sustainability at GHL Systems Berhad. Datin Seri Sunita Rajakumar, Founder and Chairperson of CGM moderated the discussion. Kok Wai C. stressed the need for government incentives that extend beyond tax benefits to support both listed companies and SMEs, which are vital to the value chain, ensuring a smooth climate transition. He called on policymakers to provide targeted support for businesses of all sizes to drive effective climate action and promote a collaborative approach to sustainability as well as ensuring selected governance on SMEs to ensure Scope 3 reporting .
