For over 100 years, airborne photogrammetry has transformed mapping, from early analogue techniques to cutting-edge digital innovations. The journey began with Aimé Laussedat in 1851, envisioning mapping with cameras. By the 1920s, Heinrich Wild's aerial cameras brought photogrammetry to the skies. Today, entire countries can be mapped rapidly, driven by advances in technology and rising demand for geospatial imagery.
