At Funding the Future Melbourne, we learned of the objectives and expectations of the massive ongoing economic changes and regulatory changes in Victoria. Jeroen Weimar, Deputy Secretary Housing Statement Implementation spoke to the purpose of the new Building and Plumbing Commissions role in rebuilding trust between construction, finance and home buyers, as well as the various initiatives this new commission and the Victorian government have pledged to deliver to solve the national housing shortage. Bridging the gap between the finance and construction sector, the platform also served as a great opportunity for regulatory leaders like Jeroen to understand the concerns and issues that builders, developers and financiers were facing in an honest and engaging Q&A session. Look forward to more insights from Funding the Future Melbourne Boardroom Lunch! Corey Nugent Sam El Rihani #fundingthefuture #futureofconstruction #victoriaconstruction
