As we approach the end of the year, we at Harrison.ai want to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey we’ve shared. This year has been pivotal for us, filled with growth and meaningful progress. We are proud to have expanded our reach, helping healthcare providers enhance their services and deliver better care to patients. Sharing a glimpse of what we’ve accomplished together with our clients, partners, and amazing team members. Here’s to a brighter and healthier 2025! Annalise.ai Franklin.ai

  • Meet Dianne Covey, a 69-year-old retired hospital worker from Farncombe, whose life took a turn thanks to the power of our #AI. After battling a persistent cough, Dianne visited her GP, fearing the worst. Her chest X-ray was promptly analyzed by the Annalise.ai chest X-ray #AI solution, now in use at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. Within hours, the AI flagged a suspicious area on her lungs, leading to a Stage 1 lung cancer diagnosis. "I never really understood much about artificial intelligence but now I think that it might have saved my life. I am very grateful. The speed of the diagnosis and catching the cancer early has given me a second chance at life," Dianne shared. In another detailed interview, Mike Jones, Radiology AI Lead, Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, said: "We aim to get things right 100% of the time, but no one is infallible. Having the safety net of [Annalise] AI ensures we’re catching as much as we possibly can. If it means detecting more stage-one cancers like Dianne’s, that’s brilliant." Dr Andrew Carne, Chief Clinical Information Officer, Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, says having the tech in the care pathway is creating a "significant impact and is dramatically changing" the status quo. The Annalise.ai technology is being rolled out across NHS England including NHS Greater Manchester, North East and North Cumbria NHS, NHS Cheshire and Merseyside, NHS East Midlands, and Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. https://lnkd.in/gUb_8H6J

This week, our co-founder, Dimitry Tran, had the privilege of joining an esteemed panel at AI+HEALTH, Stanford University’s event on AI in health and medicine. Alongside visionary leaders Enhao GONG, Noosheen Hashemi, and Martin Willemink, MD PhD FSCCT, Dimitry explored the challenges and opportunities in 'The Health AI Entrepreneur’s Journey' session. Here are Dimitry’s top 3 takeaways: ➡️ Diverse Expertise is Non-Negotiable Building a successful medtech startup requires a co-founding team with deep expertise in business, technology, and medicine. Pivots are costly. There’s no substitute for rigorous R&D and domain knowledge to build the right solution. ➡️ Beyond Product-Market Fit (PMF): Focus on Product Go-to-Market Fit (PGTMF) In healthcare, TAM (Total Addressable Market) is vast, but SAM (Serviceable Addressable Market) is shaped by product features—like narrow AI vs. comprehensive AI—and the ability to deliver solutions seamlessly to clinicians and patients. ➡️ The Founder Journey is a Sacrifice Fueled by Purpose Long hours, limited runway, and uncertain outcomes are the norm. What sustains founders is a deep passion for improving lives. Dimitry shared a moving moment from his recent experience hearing Diane Covey, a 69-year-old UK patient, share on the BBC how Annalise.ai’s early cancer detection technology may have saved her life. (Full story here: https://lnkd.in/gUb_8H6J) It was an inspiring session filled with insights, challenges, and a shared commitment to transforming healthcare through #AI.

“I never really understood much about artificial intelligence but now I think that it might have saved my life,” Dianne Covey, Royal Surrey patient. Royal Surrey’s new artificial intelligence (AI) tool identified Dianne's cancer in a matter of hours ⏳️ Diane benefitted from the technology after she was referred for an X-ray by her GP due to a persistent cough. The AI tool analysed her chest X-ray and flagged her as an urgent case. This technology is being rolled out in five NHS Trusts that are part of the Surrey, Sussex and Frimley Imaging Network. • Earlier this year, #GreaterManchester became the first region to deploy Annalise.ai's tech under a new initiative to enhance healthcare delivery. Impressively, this milestone was reached just 2-3 weeks after the contract was signed—far quicker than the typical timelines for such projects. The Annalise.ai algorithm was designed to support healthcare professionals in reading chest X-rays and identifying lung cancer at an earlier stage. What makes this deployment stand out is the speed at which technical assurances were completed. What often takes 1 or 2 years was achieved in just a matter of weeks. This fast-tracked implementation has raised an important question: how did they make it happen? As more healthcare systems explore #AI adoption, Dr Rhidian Bramley, consultant radiologist at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, and diagnostics, digital & innovation clinical lead for the Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance, experience offers valuable insights into streamlining processes while maintaining the necessary checks and balances. https://lnkd.in/ejum9DQK
